Think about it.

Aw, c’mon Sas, by “some people” he meant women, who we all know should never be held accountable for their actions and we should always take their shoes off the minute they walk in the door and start sucking their toes while staring deeply into their eyes and humming “Love Me Tender”! Otherwise any unfounded, delusional jealousy they may have is completely our fault!

Haven’t you been paying attention?

You mean there was a message somewhere in that delusional rambling. Completely missed it. I just thought he was the thread pinata. I’ll pay closer attention from now on.

So why don’t you play the ball and tell me why I’m wrong.
Because you were not wrong.

Because this is not a game.

Because I am not against you but a delicate expression of you - reflecting like a mirror the man you are within.

A man who fights against a woman is fighting against himself. For she is the marrow of his bone.
Rib of his cage.

Only when it suits them, I guess. And I’m trying to say this without a flaming intent. Every other post from a female asks for something different.
I should have looked back first, but the woman who posted about a page ago is right on. The rest so far, it seems, fluctuate by the post.

Hey Alpha F, resume unfinished business. I’ll leave the less informed with a little “quote” knowledge to ponder…

“How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.” ~Oscar Wilde

“Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.” ~Albert Einstein

?Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.? ~Gandhi

“There is no great genius without some touch of madness.” ~Lucius Annaeus Seneca

“Hatred is the coward’s revenge for being intimidated.” ~George Bernard Shaw

“Jealousy feeds upon suspicion, and it turns into fury or it ends as soon as we pass from suspicion to certainty.” ~Francois de La Rochefoucauld

“He that always gives way to others will end in having no principles of his own.” ~Aesop

“I have never in my life learned anything from any man who agreed with me.” ~Dudley Field Malone

“A woman is the only thing I am afraid of that I know will not hurt me.” ~Abraham Lincoln

“Fear not those who argue but those who dodge.” ~Marie Ebner von Eschenbach

“All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure.” ~Mark Twain

?Women are made to be loved, not understood." ~Oscar Wilde

Nice!

Good night.

All right, that does it! Who the hell do you think you are, insulting a woman like that, derek??? Why, I’ll bet you beat your wife on a nightly basis, you goddamn coward!

Talk to me that way if you’re man enough! I’ll drive up to Massachoo… Massachews… I’ll drive up north to where you live, drag you out of your house and kick your ass on your front lawn! Then I’ll eat the corn out of your wife’s shit and tell her, “that tasted sooo good, baby! Your G.I. tract is the best!” to show her how a real man treats his woman!!!

Whatsamatter??? Scared??? I thought so!!! See? Another victory for me! Man, it is so easy because you guys can’t handle my intense wit and sarcasm! All back down from my challenges, because I am just too tough and muscly and hardcore!!!

Oh, none of this applies to Professor X because he writes good training articles (and looks like he could kick my ass).

Aw CRAP! I couldn’t resist.

“They never open their mouths without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge.”
– Thomas Brackett Reed

“He loves nature in spite of what it did to him.”
– Forrest Tucker

“There’s nothing wrong with you that reincarnation won’t cure.”
– Jack E. Leonard

“He had delusions of adequacy.”
– Walter Kerr

“He is not only dull himself, he is the cause of dullness in others.”
– Samuel Johnson

“He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends.”
– Oscar Wilde

And to sum ut all up;

“I’ve had a perfectly wonderful evening. But this wasn’t it.”
– Groucho Marx

Indomitable huh? Maybe. Don’t forget to add in the point spread for the underdog.

You forgot:

“I’m afraid that women appreciate cruelty, downright cruelty more than anything else. We have emancipated them, but they are still slaves searching for their masters.” --Oscar Wilde

and

“A man can be happy with any woman as long as he does not love her.” --Oscar Wilde

BTW, Oscar Wilde turned gay in his mid-30’s. I don’t know if this shows weakness of character for not wanting to deal with women or if he had the right idea.

I like these odds. Its looking good for me. What is it now 10-1 or so. And I’m up about 7-0, only three more to go, than I can start all over again with a higher degree of bravery & intelligence as competition.

It isn’t often that I laugh out loud at my computer. This was one of those times!

Thanks.

Personally, I’ve always believed a man that sees a competition or battle in the most trivial situations (such as this thread) is lacking something either within or without.

Plus, I don’t think it’s fair to have the very same lunatic be the referee in a game in which he is the only competitor.

But that’s just me.

Well, you had one worth rewording.

His enemies have no intensity, but his friends do.

That just might sum the whole shootin match up.
