Beast mode!

Haha, I’ve been wondering what the cake meant… Congrats on the press! Absolutely insane!

Hopefully this is the place to put this, but I started watching your videos a couple weeks ago and it has really inspired me to get into strongman. I cannot afford much so I am making my own equipment and using your linear progression program. Really enjoying it so far! I am always looking forward to my next workout and challange. Great job on the 405! Cannot wait to see more!

That is just nuts. You never fail to impress dude, and you keep giving me more goals to chase.

That 405 was disgusting man, awesome lift. Btw thanks for your cutting video, i came in 5lbs UNDER weight. Will definately use that protocol again… probably after i forget how miserable it was though

@kckfl349 Thanks brother!

@Roran Hahah yea man, when it happened to me, i wondered the exact same thing!

@chriscori7 Thanks so much brother, I really appreciate the kind words man!

@T3hPwnisher Hahah thanks man, that means a lot coming from you!

@TX_iron That is awesome man and I am so glad that it worked for you! Hahah but you are definitely right, it isn’t much fun at all!

Hey Alpha, Quick youtube related question…

Do you get paid more from your ads based on length? Some of the ads are 15 seconds and some ~3minutes, and some are 17 minutes (entire Tai Lopez videos). I’d be willing to watch a medium length vid if it meant you get a little extra cash thrown your way.

Quick question for you Alpha.

I’ve got my stone of steel shipping to me, and I’m curious what you use as a crash pad. It doesn’t look like what Bartos sells. Curious what you rigged up so I can try to emulate it.

Thanks for all you do dude!

This might be one of those times Alpha’s ok with you watching youtube instead of doing your conditioning.

@Lonnie123 Some times you will but i honestly don’t know exactly how it all works. But even if you sit though the entire thing, I think (At my level) I would see like 2 more fractions of a penny. I really appreciate you thinking of me in that way man, but it would take tens of thousands of people to do the same in order for it to make much of a difference. If I were you, i’d use that extra time for something better man! But thank you so much!

@T3hPwnisher Hahah so you took the jump also! What i use are some old grappling tatami mats that i cut up and taped together, it works great if you know someone willing to part with one of theirs but definitely cheaper than the crash pad they seem on their site!

@MaazerSmiit Hahaha yea man, i think that is the best reason possible to skip it hahaha!

In this video, I explain the importance of Mock Meets and where to fit them into your training schedule for optimal competition performance. I give you Six Tips to use to make it as smooth and effective as possible while showing you some of the footage of a Mock Meet I ran at my gym last week. I might touch upon some things you haven’t thought of before so hopefully this will help some of you get even higher on the podium at your next Comp. I hope it is Helpful and As Always, thank you to each and every one of you for all of the support you guys show me. It really does mean more than you know! Feel Free to share it with anyone that has an upcoming competition. Much Respect & Thank you!

Questions for here or next video Q&A

  • Thoughts on drinking/alcohol. Yes I know its not ideal for optimal training but are you one of those who just doesn’t drink ever, or occasionally like if you don’t have a big training session the next day? Has your answer to this ever changed in the last 15 years?

  • Thoughts on box squats for either strongman, general strength training, or increasing raw squat for powerlifting.

Thanks for the intel Alpha. I thought they looked like wrestling mats or something like that. I ended up using a bunch of horse stall and wash mats stacked on top of each other, which seemed to work. Got to play with the SOS for workout this Thursday; “Stone of Sad Feels” definitely sums it up, haha.

@sufiandy Thanks so much for the questions brother, i will definitely add them to my list!

@T3hPwnisher Hahaha dude that thing is demoralizing! I hope someday I will have some good advise for the thing but right now, I am still on the struggle bus!

Well, Matt Gary is an Awesome Coach, I can definitely vouch for that! He was kind enough to help me break down some dumb stuff I was doing on my deadlift which lead to this 715 PR! In this video, paraphrase a few things that we worked on and show you guys my attempts working up to this waaayyyy overcooked PR! A Special thank your to Matt for all he has done to help me and thanks to each of your for all of your support!
