@danteism Hahah well that is one way to look at them haha!

As Promised @T3hPwnisher Here is a tutorial on the Circus Dumbbell…

Well, I never thought this day would come but I actually made a Circus Dumbbell Tutorial. I show you different rack positions and all of the basics you will need to improve in this event. Even though I hate it…and it hates me, I hope some of you will find this Video helpful!

You rock Alpha! I can’t wait to watch it. I figure, as someone that hates the CDB, you’re going to have a uch better perspective compared to someone who has it come more naturally.

EDIT: Holy crap, that shout out just made my day! I even shared the video with my wife to show it to her. She said you’re really funny, haha.

Also, those were some amazing tips Alpha. You made a lot of sense out of what I was screwing up, and I learned WHY I was doing some of the techniques I was employing. This will really go a long way for me in the future. Really appreciate it man.

Hey Brian, congrats on the comp and new record!

I am actually gonna find myself on the east coast during the last week of June/first week of July and will be something like a 3 hour drive from Neversate. I’m wondering how you do drop-ins for the gym. Should I shoot you email to the address on the site?

In training do you alternate arms for CDB or use the same? In the video you had the same arm for everything. And if you train them equally in the gym, what about competition? Including warmups

@T3hPwnisher Hahah dude, I just hope it helps you out! That YOU for always being who you are for me and the community my friend!

@Sutebun Sure thing brother, just email me first to make sure that we have the room for a visitor and we will set something up man. I would love to have you out! Just let me know when you are thinking and we can move forward from there!

@sufiandy i honestly train my right more than my left because I have never had to use both in a comp. I only use one. i don’t worry too much about imbalances because i do still trim with both but I’d be lying if I didn’t say there was more focus on the right more so than the left.

Got some training in on Friday but the nest of it was hitting a 480lb PR on the Close Grip Bench Press:

I knew making videos was rough but I didn’t know how much time it could take… Thank you so much for putting out all of the content. I’ve been going back and watching some of the strongman tutorials and they have helped so much. Thank you!

Happy birthday man

Just noticed the Greek flag. What’s up with that?

Happy birthday!

Alpha,

dont know if you have ever seen Strength Wars (I’m just watching it myself for the first time today) but it seems like something you would excel at, and get massive exposure for your channel. Its essentially a best-of-three-events competition, and it seems right up your alley.

https://www.strengthwars.us/

There is an entry form on their website. Might as well put your name in the hat, they may pick you.

@Lonnie123 Yea man, i am definitely interested, but I am not in a position to pay to fly to another country to do so. If they were willing to pay for my travel and expenses, i would definitely go! But thank you! I will probably fill out the application!

Late happy birthday! Thanks for working hard and setting an example.

Yeah that I dont know, they get tooooons of views on YouTube but I dont know if they have the coin to do that kind of stuff. Maybe offer your gym as an American filming location?

Incredibly cool, and speaks very well of the positive impact that you have on your gym members, that one of them would gift you such a thing.

Keep up the terrific work!

300 (Bigger PR)

ASSISTANCE - 3 Rounds
10 Weighted Side Bends (Each Side)
10 Fat Grips 45 Degree Back Raise Deadlifts
10 Glute Ham Raises

NOTES

  • My Deadlift sucks. I want to punch it in the face.
  • Stone of steel went awesome though! 275 was my old PR. I can hit 350 to my shoulder with a normal stone but the Stone of steel is a different animal. 300 is definitely cool and i am really happy about it!
  • I should have the weekly training video out soon so you guys can check it out. But for right now, here is the horrendous 650 Double with the Axle. It was too humid to hold onto the axle well, so i was using straps.
