All Australian T-Men in Brisbane

I have found a perfect facility finaly,

The University of Queensland Powerlifting and Weightlifting Club. You dont have to compete in either it is just a facility for people wanting to get strong, for sport or just generally.

The membership is only $200 a year.

The best part, they have a GHR and Reverse Hyper, and a lifting platform with Olypic Plates, i nearly fainted!

If you want to see it for yourself go to the UQ sport website and find the PL and WL club link.

I think I’ll see if my company has any jobs available in Brisbane…

$200 p.a. with all that quality gear is unbelievable. I wonder if there are any places like that in Sydney.

I just googled Powerlifting Australia, if you go to their website they might have a link to a local club.

This club also has qualified coaches on hand as well.

If you live on the South Side of Brisbane, check out the Chandler Sporting Complex - I know quite a few power/weightlifters who train there, and say the facilities are quite excellent.

What I don’t get is why every gym in the world doesn’t have at least one power rack, GHR and Reverse Hyper? They are the first 3 things that I would buy.

I’m yet to find anywhere that has that equipment in Tassie :frowning:
