You’re seriously DB benching 60lb DBs? Holy shite… can I steal some of that weight please? My bench sucks donkey balls…

Oh, no. I wish. 30 each hand, 60 total. My bench sucks moose balls. Feel free to point and giggle. But I am trying to get up to 45’s by summertime.

That’s a good goal!

Pretty good day.
DB Press 1x5@22.5 each, 1x5@30 each (PR!) 3x5@25 each
good mornings 3x5@95
rack pulls 1x5@135, 1x5@205, 1x5@210(PR!) 1x5@215 (double PR!)
lat pulldowns 3x5@100
dips 3x10
lat raises 5x5@20
squats 1x5@135, 3x5@155
(now that I’m looking straight ahead instead of turning my head left to look in the mirror, it feels more natural.)

Okay thank you for making me feel better about my life haha.

I’m not pointing and giggling at all… My bench is terrible.

Ha, always glad to be of use. “Schadenfreude, making me feel glad that I’m not you.”

I wish more people would get on board with that.

Six mile run, beautiful magnolia weather.

6 miles?!
I jogged a total of 1/2 mile and thought I was going to die, lol…

For me it’s fun. Last summer I did like ten miles a day. Couldn’t do a push-up, though.

ya, I’m kinda after both right now: endurance AND strength…it’s hard, but not impossible!!

Hi! I just want to say that I think 40 hanging leg raises is pretty awesome! Is that all at one time?

Yeah. I don’t have anything resembling abs, though; I have yet to figure that one out.

So apparently my lifts are “good” on everything except bench:

But I think this list exaggerates the difference between men and women. The women’s standards are a little low by PW standards, and the men’s standards are higher than I’ve ever seen anyone lift in my gym.

eh…just do the best you can and always strive to progress…
I’m in the “good,” category for the big three lifts and the shoulder press, but I fail when it comes to pushup, dips and that kind of stuff…meh…I’m working on it though!!

Thanks for adding that link, it is a reminder of what I strive for in strength.

DB fly 6x5@20
lat raises 6x5@22.5

And… my first ever chin-up. (Three, actually.)

Six miles.

5k race – 26:47, which is bad, I know, but

a.) I didn’t do any speedwork practice
b.) I haven’t run a race since high school
c.) this is a minute faster than my best-ever three-mile time in high school

so I’m fairly happy.
