Hangover are caused by substances called congeners-and activated charcoal absorbs them. LIKE BIG TIME! The time to prevent the “morning after” is the night before.
I’m actually almost done on an article about alcohol and its effects on the body as well as training, I’ve also researched the literature in order to find the best way to combat the ‘hangover’ effect. Without giving away too much (if T-mag don’t want it i’ll post my findings here)I reckon the best way to stop a hangover (or at least reduce its effects) is to eat something, like a small portion of chips (fries) when you get out of the club, when you get home take your vitamins and definately take your ZMA, it does make a difference. P.S. don’t forget water, easily the most important thing. Chris.
