For help to everyone flying for the holidays, let’s make a thread about what you have gotten through airport security and what’s gotten taken as far as food items and such.
Flying Bradley International to Charlotte.
Taken:
nothing
Gotten through:
Frozen Chili
Beef stroganof
— The security guy said the chili was ok because it was frozen? ftw? I don’t think I was supossessed to get the stroganof through through. So what has everyone else had yay/nay for airport security. (Make sure to say what country you were in if you’re not in the USA, or if you were going internationally! I’m sure many of us are flying in the continental US, but make sure you state whatever so people know)
add plain beef burgers and plain chicken breast along with nuts and raisins to that list of things that I got through. Was still flying Bradley to Charlotte.
remember to put any powder supplements into dry shakers and add water after security as they are allowed this way. remember to bring money for bottled water at airport.
I’ve taken vitamins through security in ziploc baggies, and always been surprised that nobody says anything. I used to take protein bars on vacation, but I’m trying to get away from refined/process sugars so now I have to take shakes. I’m trying to decide if I’ll take an entire tub of powder (I’m going for a week) or just a bunch of foil packets.

I remember now! I took a whole Metabolic Drive tub in my carry on from Bradley to Chicago back in the spring! Wasn’t an issue.
