Has anybody noticed that once they get off creatine they lose muscle fast? I read an article stating that once you stop upkeeping for a while your muscles will basically turn to flab. Sounded like bullshit to me but I’m checkin to see for sure. Thanks

hence the “sounded like bullshit” but ill admit i am inexperienced with creatine and the whole water retension blah blah blah, forgive my fogginess on the topic.
I have a new question as well,
Ive ordered Surge, the Biotest Creatine, And BCAA’s… and after looking at recommendations im thinkin i mix the creatine and Surge for a post workout shake and take BCAA’s as recommended throughout the day. Is it also recommended I use a whey/casien protein product as well or just eat a balanced diet to get enough protein?
hey, umm no that is not true. I always heard the BS about " your going to loose all of your muslce after you stop taking it." as long as you keep lifting you wont see much change.
Why stop? Unless it’s a monetary issue, then there is no need to cycle off. Make it a staple. All the misinformation about creatine and its use has pretty much been debunked. It’s cheap, it works, it’s not dangerous.

No need to ask forgiveness. I didn’t mean to come off as belittling, you are asking good questions and are at the right place to ask them.
Mixing Surge with creatine is a GREAT idea. I always do that periworkout. BCAAs are also very good, especially in between meals.
The protein question is a little more complicated. Whole food is a better way to get your protein, but many of us find it difficult to get enough through food alone. Look honestly at your diet. Are you getting at least 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight? If not, you should adding the protein shakes.
Hope this helps.

Yea thanks man that answers all the questions I got… with that said, its time to get workin’
you don’t lose muscle mass. that is ridiculous. protien builds muscle anyways. creatine just gives you energy.
that being said, when i have stopped using creatine, i have felt weaker for a week or two. but it is probably more from having less energy than i’m used to rather than a loss of muscle.
my weight and body fat percentages never change much more than usual.
