To be honest…I think its great that you are trying to get in shape and all, but, it seems to me like you are a beginner taking it too far. IF you NEED supplements that bad I would recommend that you get the Flameout fish oil capsules that they sell on this site to get a good portion of your omega 3 fats or Carlson’s fish oil that they sell on Amazon(whichever is fine). Protein drinks however are a definite yes and I would recommend Metabolic Drive low carb since so far I’ve gotten better results out of it than anything else…and Strawberry, Orange, Vanilla, and Banana taste delicious. If I were you I’d begin to research the exact ratio of Proteins/Carbs/fats that you would need to reach your goals and then look for an exercise routine and STICK TO IT. Besides that you shouldn’t try to go full out because you’ll end up wasting money that on supplements that do you no good as a newbie(as I was and still partially am). If you need any good dieting advice I would say to try to count calories and proteins/carbs/fats using fitday.com so that you don’t overshoot on your diet.

P.S.
If you can’t really give us or anyone a better idea of what your goals are or how much time you put into lifting then you won’t be able to get much specific help from anyone…and I used the search function and I’m down 20lbs…down 5bf percentage points and going up on my lifts…so SEARCH.

Good Luck

Edit:

You’ve gotten most of what you need in supplements info from us now you have to look for dieting and food advice so the best way to search for that is under the search names of “food” and “diet” after which you can use fitday.com to see whether that food is appropriate or not for your calorie requirements.

thanks for all the help. ill give that site a look at now.

Read Berardi’s articles which have been posted on this site for diet recommendations.

Since you’re just beggining to go to the gym regularly, Chad Waterbury’s full body workouts should be good for you untill you’re in the habit of going to the gym all the time.

Cut first THEN gain lean mass.

Good Luck

Something I forgot was, not to worry about supps at the moment, because if you use everything now what are you going to use later when you’re finding it harder to gain.

All you need is Protein Powder, a Multi-Vitamin and Fish Oil. And a clean diet with a goal defined caloric intake.

Your first year of training is the most important. You can gain amazing amounts of lean mass with proper nutrition and REST. Don’t waste it by worrying about the latest supp, diet, or workout.

Yeh it seems nutrition is everything. Ima go buy some fish oil and some protien today
