Advanced 531

Hey,

I recently re-read the beyond book, and want to try out the advanced 531 option layed out for 4 days.

Did anyone ever run this for a few cycles and can tell me their experiences with it? the one thing I see myself missing is the FSL/SSL option to get some volume in, but then again it is always planned to assist the main lift with some medium percentage 2nd lift (bench/press and squat/deadlift).

Just raise the volume of the main work. It’s easy to do.

Dead 5x5-5x1
Press 5x5-5x1

Just do more total reps of each lift. So let’s say you do 25 total reps. Do more than 25.
