Hi, so i’ve come across a few studies that “implied” that diary products can aggrevate acne-prone skin. Due to high amounts of hormones in pregnant cows mainly.
so will milk protein do the same thing since its derived from milk?

I might be way off here, but pregnant cows aren’t the ones being milked…

In brief: No.
The dairy-acne correlation is very tenuous, and the study was performed on people who were prone to very bad acne. ie–unless you have a serious enough acne problem that you are on medication for it, don’t give the dairy link a second thought. And milk protein isolates (whey / casein) have no correlation to acne. The fats/oils in whole milk were what produced the adverse effect.
One of these days, I will have to compile a list of all the scientific journals I read in order to give references when I post. I am a bad, bad person.
so all dairy products would contact those negative fats but protein powders (whey/cas) will have no effect in this aspect?
