yeah go figure… I could kind of see this in your future

12/20/10
warm up : normal
waited 25 minutes for power rack. At least the guy was squatting.
Squat : bar x 20
135 x 10
195 x 5
245 x 5
295 x 3
365 x 5…Put on belt
415 x 3
460 x 1
But on briefs: 500 x 1
Had to cut it short had other things needed done. Oh the joys of being a hobby lifter.
Well on the positive note my groin is almost cleared up. On a negative note if it doesn’t warm up soon I’m going to have aneurysm if I don’t get out of the local YMCA.

Don’t they have OTC creams for that type of groin problem?
I hope you plan on posting a video of the sling shot. I’ve seen the Mark Bell one. I want to see the bull dog one. I’m very tempted by it.

Ugh, On my dead lift routine I’m going back using one based on what Brad Gillingham does. Because I got good results from it. (more details later)

Brad Gillingham. He’s the fellow that double overhands his conventional. Amazing. I’m not familiar with his DL program, so I’ll be interested to hear about it.
Gillingham is a beast, but a super nice guy. Shows up at most of the local meets, as does his brother Carl.
That whole gym, or most of them (Jackyl’s) pull double overhand hook, and they are all beastly pullers. I remember a few years ago watching Krogman do 750 as a RAW Junior double over hand. Boggles my mind. I think it was the first RAW USAPL meet in the state and he pretty much set the bar high, records wise, for RAW USAPL’ers.

I got to agree with you. Gillingham is a bad ass. And not to mention one of the best Dead -lifters walking the face of the earth. Not to mention hes kicking ass and taking names in his 40’s. God, you just got to respect that!

I have a new piece of hardware coming in a few days.
Word of warning: Major changes coming to my training at the beginning of the year.
