Are there preferred movements that strengthen the abs while minimising hip flexor involvement?
Would heavy compound work suffice or are there some specific exercises?
The ab wheel doesnāt really have significant hip flexor involvement. Also, thereās one where you get into a plank position, then push your butt up into the air, and then go into spinal flexion to contract the abs. Lemme know if that makes sense.
