This questions is for Tampa Terry or anyone who could answer. On abbh1 what does h/s stand for on days 1,9,17 etc. I’m sure it is something I should know but i just cant think of it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can explain this to me.

Hey, there mikek!
H/S was my abbreviation for Hammer Strength. I couldn’t make the columns for the exercise any wider and had to abbreviate.
I probably should have changed it before I distributed it.
As an added note, I recommend free weight exercises over Hammer Strength. But H/S is fine if it’s your only option.
Just want to make sure I am choosing enough exercises for ABBH. I just started basically and for Day 1 I have only 2 exercises choosen. Flat Barbell Bench and Bent Over Barbell Rows. I was just a bit confused at the amount of exercise choices. I know there are alot of sets here and I know alot of muscles being used, but I just want to make sure I get the maximum bang for the program buck which I guess would be alot since its free free free!!
Can TT or CW clarify. I tried a search and from what I can decifer, that’s what CW has prescribed. With the exception of the additional direct arm work thrown in there.
Thanks for anyones help!

Thanks tampa terry and cw. Just needed a little clarification. I do not have to worry about h/s as I dont lift at a commercial gym. I only have one barbell for now so I have to hustle my ass stripping off weight and adding weight between sets so I can move the bar around from excecise to exercise. It also gets my heart going a little bit which helps me get in a little extra cardio. thanks again

Yes. That is correct. You read it right. Only two or three exercises per workout for the number of sets required. Don’t make it more complicated.
Thanks Nate Dizzle,
I shall keep as is. Plus, I get sore enough with this anyways, so its not like I’m looking for more harassment CW style!
Ciao,

One more question just for clarity: the prescribed sets are after warmups right? In other words, if I my working weight is 185 on bench, my 2 sets of 135 warmup are not included in the 10 sets of 3 right?
I know there are no such things as stupid questions, only stupid people who ask questions, but I had to ask.

Correct.
Is it ok to subsitute Front Squat with Hack/Back Squat? I just don’t seem to get the form right with front squats.
I substituted hack squats in for front squats, and it still kicked my ass. When I say hack squats, I mean the old style deals, the ones that look like a deadlift with the bar behind your legs. They’re killer.
