ABBH for Beginner?

Would the ABBH Chad Waterbury Program be good for a beginner? I’m not so much a beginner weight lifter as I am a beginner to Waterbury’s programs(they seem quite efficient!)

I am 19 years old, 6’4 and 200 lbs and have been lifting(not seriously) for about 2 years.

I have ok gains, but I overtrained most of that time without a good program, hence I turn to Waterbury’s programs.

I have a high calorie diet, anywhere from 3500 calories on reg days up to 5000-6000 calories on twelve hour work days.

I seem to hurt my back everytime I try deadlifts, so I’ll either work on form or find a replacement exercise(any ideas?)

My question is this, is ABBH a good program for a begginer to try, or should I do another of Chad’s programs?

Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

ABBH is a beginner program.

Yea, it’s more of a beginner program, but also works great for beginners who think they’re intermediates.

How do you know if you’re a beginner or an intermediate?

duh… you have to be a level 23 lifter to get to intermediate…

its always the hardest one!

I’d start off with the Bill Starr 5x5 first then move on to ABBH later on
