So ive been running 5/3/1 for a few years but have stayed true to the big 4 strength movements and Boring But Big accessory movements. My question is I think my midsection is holding me back on strength transference, but how do I incorporate AB work without it causing issues on the 4 main movements?
In the Hardgainer program he has any abdominal exercise listed two days a week.

If including ab training causes issues with your big 4 movements, you’re in such bad shape that you NEED to do these ab workouts no matter what.
I do a lot of ab wheel work. I’ll do hanging leg raises sometime too.

i do believe some direct AB work would improve my bracing and keep from collapsing on my squats as much. Just hate AB work and wanted ideals besides the typical answers
