I’m 147 right now and don’t think I could do another one. Lat pulldowns are A ZILLION times easier than pullups. I have decided pullups are inconsistent with my ass goals and am hapilly never going to do them.

They can totally monitor your ass but it’s more for fun than function The weirdest one for me was several years ago I was squatting in full gear and this guy sat and watched the entire time; some intense slavic kind of guy. I have noticed that different leg press machines offer more/less resistance. Im not sure, but I think its because the angle of the sled might be different between them. An increase/decrease in the angle will tangentially alter the force needed to push the same plate weight. Nomsayin?

Aw sanks… NOT MY SICKEST WORK EVAH… but not too shabby. I know what you mean about the angle… I’m inconsistent as fuck with that too I usually just leave the backrest as I find it. Still though I REALLY THINK one of those presses at Parkmoor has a 55LB sled and one has. 65. This is based on my completely scientific assessment (please read assessment as opinion)

Yeah, when hitting a snag in progression, ramping your way up to some heavy singles can really get you over that hump… to coin a phrase. The muskels may be there, but the neuro-muscular connection has to catch up.
I almost never find leg presses to be the same. Super legit call.
