I can relate on the pull-ups. I want to be able to do them because they’re badass, but I’m not built for it - I’m quite heavy and carry most of my weight in the lower body. I’m thinking back to Juliette Bergman whose neck, arms and calves were all 14". Great proportions. Me - neck and calves around 15" - arms a bit over 12". I’ve spent 20 years trying to make them bigger but they’re not interested in growing (damn them). I’m like a fucking T-Rex.
As for dumbfuck, I’d have dropped the barbell on the back of his legs. Right on the achilles tendon. That would have served him right.

Melatonin is addictive. Don’t take more than 4-5 nights in a row (without 2 week break), about 1 hr before desired bed time. I.e. you want to sleep at 10 pm ? take at 9 pm but on empty stomach. Take at same time EVERY night. That’s how it’s most effective. Take it and then take quick 30 min job and then hot shower = deep sleep.
Magnesium (non -oxide form) will give you nice dreams at around 250 mg and up. don’t take more than 400 mg (laxative effect).

Excellent Question! The answer is… cuz thats what my coach had in my program LOL.
NOW that I think about it though it makes sense. One arm pressing overhead increases the likelihood of unnatural twisting/tilting of the back. The unilateral nature esp as the weights get heavy doing this standing would seem more risky for injury. The back rest gives nice support to minimize the akwardness of uneven weight lifting like that.
