Back in the commercial gym, filled with brahs, old women, and teen “hoss-in-their-own-mind” lifters. Gawd I dont miss this place at all. Used my new monster mini bands tonight, those gave a lot more resistance than I expected, LWI it seems. Hit a brick wall on the last rep (on video). Gym closes at 8 on Sundays, so the rest of today was fast with volume for teh pump and teh burnszs.

I think I’ll jack your DE bench day and use it (with more childish numbers) today. I like the 3 different grips, it could work for me since I never can seem to find the “perfect” spot for my hands.
I’m thinking Jane Fonda meets the Hulk!!
Just teasin DF
and you can def get some nasty shit from open sores in a gym. get some cool socks, maybe with crossbones or something and if someone laughs just say, "let me see you deadlift 500!!) bet ya they will be wearing socks the following week.
Maxed out reverse band squat in the single ply briefs. It took forever to get warmed up and loose, but i was satisfied with the result. LWI.

INK - wish I could claim credit for rotating the grips, but I got that from the westside barbell guys. check out their website and read the gyms training log, its updated semi regularly, you can pick up some good ideas and advice.
NLMAIN - lol, im gonna rock some tall black socks next pulling day, Ill make sure to get a vid for you
GREGRON - dude, the beanie adds at least 100lbs to your total. get yourself some mini bands for benching, among other lifts. they are well worth it
BIGDAWG - thanks my friend
HRocks - thanks brother
ALKU - haha welcome aboard, its mostly just me now, but TBA drops in every now and then
I was debating whether or not to get a beanie, wasn’t sure until you said that it’ll add 100 lbs to my total. If it doesn’t work, I will be vedy, vedy upset.
How’d you like the HS High Row? I just did that for the first time like, a week ago, as well. I <3 it now

how can you lift with that beanie on man? I would be sweating my balls off with a beanie on.
those mini bands look sweet[/quote]
I sweat with just a hat on…lol
Dixie, love the log man! Love seein’ what other people do in this pursuit of weight.

yeah man my head sweats a lot when I’m really working hard so I wear a hat to keep it out of my eyes. I’ve got an underarmor one thats all vented to keep cooler. A beanie would ruin my life lol
DF - if I had a beanie and my stache I would probably be damn near hittin an elite total with just two lifts
On a serious note… I dont think you’re spotters could have done anything if that wanted too had that squat gone awry… good thing you’re a beast cause that kid in the blue would have been crushed lol
Nikki - I stand by what I said about the beanie. And regarding the HS High Row, I liked it, it was a strange ROM at first though
Gregron - my hair is most always buzzed very short, so the beanie actually is not very warm at all. Regarding the kid in the blue, hes actually pretty strong for his size. I wish he would get into powerlifting or bodybuilding, he has good potential, but its not his passion, he does what he enjoys, so I cant fault him on that.

way to go DF… way to make me feel like an A-Hole for that comment about the blue guy lol

haha dude no worries, I give him crap all the time for doing crossfit…though to his favor, he legitimately does it and it really good at it. Tis all in good fun.
Beastly squattin DF. No question about depth on that one. White light from me! Were those the black strong bands? How much tension weight are they supposed to have?
What’s it like? Being in law school, picking up weights the size of small cars, wearing a beanie all the time, being generally awesome?
BTW, just for the hell of it, would you post a day of eating? I know you don’t have a set diet, but can you just post a somewhat typical day to give us an idea of what kind of food it takes to get to your size/strength.
If you are planning on walking out squats in competition, I’d suggest figuring that out a little better. You are taking awkward extra steps and that burns up a lot of energy under that much weight. Nice squatting though.
