Upon re watching the video, yeah I dunno either. Pretty sure what was blitzing through my mind was “lock it without hitching” and so I was trying to get that last little bit without hitching it…and just ended up having a slight case of the tremors.

Did triples in the shirt off the 1 board. After that, had to hurry through the rest. The spotter kept putting his hands on the bar, I kept telling him no, so we compromised with “Fine, have em there, but I swear to God if you start pulling the weight for me I am breaking someone.” He didnt pull on it.

Lookin good. After watching you bench I definitely need to hit a bit lower and reduce my ROM some.

Looking pretty good, good control on the way down, would like to see more speed on the way up. Also, just because your fed allows you to bench on your toes, doesn’t mean YOU should. Looks like you are lacking leg drive, and stability. Trying moving your feet back a little further, and place them flat. See where that gets you.

Agreed. I’ve found that pushing from the heels makes me more stable, but DF you bench more than me, so take that with a grain of salt I suppose.

Also, lulz from the board-holding spotter giving you coaching the whole time.

Funny you should say that, I had disinfectant with me so I just poured it on…twas a nice burn

I’ve done the duck tape and disinfectant multiple times. Duck tape is the ultimate band-aid. Also I bought some deadlift socks from EFS and they’ve held up for 6 months now with some pretty extensive pulling. Definitely worth the purchase.

See I’ve been deadlifting wrong because I can’t see my shin bone 0:)
