I know the feeling. I stack some 25’s up (6 of 'em) to make my box. I’m a bit shorter so the bench is significantly a higher position than parallel so I just go with the time consuming plate stacking.

Good work today, was in the zone the whole time. Got angry bout my last set of Standing Military, my goal was 5 total reps, but I hit the pin after 3, throwing off my grove and breaking my concentration, and so had to rack it there. Ah well, otherwise had a good day. My triceps are tight as I type this.

DF I’ve got a question for ya… how would I find a local PL meet to do? I think it would be pretty fun but I have no idea how to find a good meet. I googled it but wasnt finding anything in San Diego.

i was looking at that and there really arent any around my area. I guess San Diego isnt the Powerlifting hot spot lol.

I think it would be fun to do one. I’d be shooting for a 3/4/5 type of total (which i know would be super weak but I dont plan on winning anything) I just think it would be fun to get out there and try a meet. there are a couple on there that are in Santa Barbara which is only 3 hours away

trying to figure out what you were doing at lockout with the reverse band, it didn’t look, well, locked out. for both pulls I think you would do a little better with chin up, eyes to the ceiling. should get your shoulders centered a little better.

Upon re watching the video, yeah I dunno either. Pretty sure what was blitzing through my mind was “lock it without hitching” and so I was trying to get that last little bit without hitching it…and just ended up having a slight case of the tremors.

Regarding the chin up, eyes, will definitely work on it sir.

Regarding the shoulders, centered on what? Just confused on what you mean, centered in regards to the center of the bar?
