ME Pin Pulls

Wanted to do somethin fun, this met the bill…sorta haha. I did pin pulls with the monster mini pros doubled. I definitely did not realize how tight those lil bastards would be. On the other hand, my grip held out longer, given the extra band tension. I worked up to 550, thought I had it alright but upon watching the video I hitched a lot more than I thought while pulling.

There’s a definite learning curve with gear. You really have to work to sit back against the suit when you squat. USAPL requires locked knees before getting the squat command. That helps me tighten everything in my body. I think SPF does not require locked knees and, perhaps, doesn’t even have a start command for the squat.

Have you tried DLing in gear yet? Do you have a DL suit?

kpsnap - I have tried it before, results have been “meh.” My squat suit is extremely tight, which leads to great pop on squat but next to impossible to get down to pull with the straps up. I dont have an actual DL suit

On an unrelated note, since you’re in law school, do they make you take classes in logic? Have you ever taken logic? I’m probably going to law school, and my current logic class is kicking my ass! I imagine any sort of graduate course would be MUCH harder…

I’m actually in my second year undergrad. I’m at a community college, but I’m about to transfer next semester to a 4 year university as a junior. I’m a philosophy major, and I love to argue, blah blah blah, but Aristotle’s logic, and all the other old school, mathy type logic is brutal. And Gregron, lol!

Maxed out reverse band bench, got a PR that eluded me last time. Was really pumped about it. Worked hard on staying tight, workin on not moving while benching. DISCLAIMER: in the video the spotter has his hands right around the bar, thats how he spots, hes an accomplished lifter, I trust him.
