TexanBadAss had a test in one of his night classes, so he did cardio this morning and will be doing his big lifting tomorrow.

SQUAT DAY
Due to two midterms each and a lack of dedicated spotters today, me and TexanBadAss skipped on the near max effort work today and did my old bodybuilding style squat workout today. Needless to say, it kicked our asses.
Narrow Stance Squat
–for comparison, when I squat normally, I squat outside the rack, well outside shoulder width in a squat suit, with feet turned out, and hitting powerlifting depth. today I squatted with feet just barely outside shoulder width, feet at 45 degree angle, and going ass to grass–

Smith Machine Wide Stance Paused Squat
–taught to me by a friend of mine who competes in bodybuilding: set up in the smith, put your feet wide (or normal squat width for wide stance) way out in front of you, and squat down. Go down past parallel, hold it, then squeeze powerfully through the hips/glutes/hamstrings to come back up. this excercise is a man maker–

Stiff Legged Deadlift Standing on the Bench
–from ankles to knees, isolating the hamstrings–
