Yesterday I hit it hard by hitting the lake with my family, and getting utterly destroyed by the inner tube.
Family FTW.
The picture is my little brother, little sister, and me, August 2009 in Hawaii

Utterly worn out from the lake yesterday, lets do this.
Shoulders, Triceps, and Lats
Warmups
Seated Military Press
135 x 12
185 x 8
205 x 7
225 x 3
235 x 2
245 x 1 (PR)
250 x 1 (MISS…dammit)
Reverse Grip Bench Press
135 x 5
225 x 5
250 x 4
275 x 3
315 x 1.5 (second rep was coming up clean but began to slip out of my hand)
335 x 1
Lateral Raises and Front Raises
6 x 8-6 (various grips etc)
Wide Grip Reverse Grip Cable Row
2 x 8-12
Weighted Chin Ups
+35lbs x 8
+45lbs x 6
Lat Pulldown
2 x 6-8
Standing Cable Fly
4 x 8-15
Good lifting boys. Having a good, reliable training partner is the shit.

Week Ten of the deadlift cycle, time to see if the hard work paid off with a 25lb (from original max) personal record.
Stretching
Sumo Deadlift
Warmup sets
135 x 5
225 x 5
315 x 3
405 x 2
475 x 1
Working Sets
550 x 1 (slow as molasses, but it came up clean, PERSONAL RECORD)
335 x 3 x 3
Hell yes, I did it.
Have a doctors appointment at 3, so due to that and the exhaustion from 550, the rest of the workout was short
Heavy Cable Shrugs
5 x 15-20
Standing Cable Abs (heaviest to lightest)
5 x 5-13
Pullups/Stretching
3 x 5-8
There you have it.
Nice PR man.
Hoooooeeee!! Nice work Bison. One more rep b/c the expression. ![]()
Pulling with those octagonal plates sucks. Nice PR.

Racquetball is awesome.
Cardio is not.
Put them together, and you average out to…good.

At my gyms, it’s the silver fox’s who play raquetball…then dry their crinkly old saggy balls under the hand dryer…I’ll wager that’s the only reason you play, so you can desicrate the sanitary hand drying facilities in the locker room. BUSTED!! (Yes TX told me)

315 x 5
Wide Grip Paused Bench (burnout, sort of)
135 x 15

^TexanBadAss in his original form
I dont remember how many reps he did on some sets, so I may get a scathing reply from him later for short changing him.

TBA tied his previous best easily, and had he done 305 before 310 he would have had a new pr. Ah well, live and learn. TBA has been going beast mode on the bench lately.
