Probably why my bench is so shitty. I just make tiny bits of progress and only add weight when I’m feeling strong. If I have any feeling that I won’t nail it with some left in the tank, I’ll back off.

Why don’t you lift with your brother?[/quote]
Other than pullups and dips at work, and prowler pushing, anytime I suggest or attempt to get him to come over and lift, he flakes out. Read: Vaginosis!

If I didn’t live like a million and one miles away from you, I’d come show you up old man.
Came in fightin the sniffles, but had a good day anyway. Side note, I got on EFS website and apparently I have not realized how much tension these bands were actually adding…that makes me happy.
Impressive how you’re making westside-style training work in that gym Dixie. Good things. Seeing the guy in the background doing 1/4 squats with 145 in the smith machine while you’re doing speed pulls makes me glad I don’t train in a gym like that anymore. How do you decide when to use squat briefs or a bench shirt in that gym?
Thanks MiM! I didnt put anymore cause I was tryin to do speed work on em.
Ink, first bands I got were the mini (pink) bands, used em primarily for benching and stretching, love em. Got the strong (black) bands, then just recently got the average (gray) bands. You can buy em all in a pack together (I believe DoveofWar did that) if you want. I love using them, they definitely put you to work.
kpsnap, thank you! My normal stance is actually just a tad wider than that, in the rack here at home though I cant go as wide. No real reason why, I just feel comfortable with a wider stance.
MostMajor, thanks bud. Yeah, there are a lot of smith machine abusers here at home. I actually dont have any briefs, though I get the feeling I should be finding some. I use the shirt here at home when my dad comes with me, I dont use the squat suit because I cant get wide in the rack for it.
Took yalls advice and narrowed the grip, my left pec insertion didnt hurt, but my ego on the weight did haha. Got 4 on the last set, that is +1 but wanted more. Took 3 board for a max (that scared the spotter, though to his credit he didnt try to rip it off, he just let me work it up for a bit), then had to rush through lats, as training got cut short by Arkansas’s snowacolypse.

I love those reverse band squats and do them regularly. I struggle with the walkouts, so they help me train that. Nice work. That’s a hell of a lot of weight.
Bad day. Got greedy on ME. That pec insertion is tight and sore again. Class started again. Ah hell. LOL upon watching the video, I forgot about the near disaster when re racking it. This rack has those stupid j hooks and I had em up too high. Good thing the spotter was on top of it.

Be grateful that I’m not your spotter, I can’t even DL that weight
And miss videos make me nervous, my heart starts beating fast and I seem to forget that you have to be okay since you were able to post it, but still. I get nervous.
