Allow me a rant: mainstream commercial gyms suck. I realize now what it was that I liked about my gym in Jackson: it is sparsely populated. Even at its busiest, its not busy, and at my Jackson gym the MAJORITY of people there are intense about their lifting. Not so at the little rock athletic club. Fat pear shaped mofos walkin around like its a social gathering. Pumpin techno music for the “group cardio” dance a thon. Miserable. Thank God for viking death metal an deadlifts.

I saw an old fraternity brother in there, hes intense about his lifting, so got a good temporary partner.
