But you’re doing the advanced version by giving the link a title. It looks way cleaner. It also saves space on the page. :+1:

The Complete Power Look Program

You can always drop the bench day if necessary.

Apparently I can’t either today!

I’ve run that a time or two. Week 3 kind of sucks on squats so it should be right up @loganator’s alley.

If I don’t die from all those complexes in superhero and mass made simple I hope to run it to finish out the transformation.

Just start slow in the first week. I remember being able to improve pretty rapidly week to week. It was more about getting a feel for it

But I was also like 28 and still in the army/ in shape, so who knows how quickly I’d die nowadays

Still better than GIANT sets at least there is short rests.

I’m really curious as to what someone would have me follow who has seen my journal and knows what I’ve been doing. I’m too nervous to commit to anything but I’m greatly curious

Looks good to me! I’ll probably do back exercises prior to the push and turn it into a full upper day. My elbows/shoulders seem to agree with that order more. Other than that I’ll follow it as written! (Although I’d prefer farmer walk for traps rather than shrugs)

I think front squats will also be nice after maxing back squat to change up my movement pattern for a bit, better start working on thoracic and wrist mobility now so I can handle them.

Never tried a program with once a week frequency on movements so it’ll be interesting to see how I respond to that.

If you prefer carries go for it! We won’t tell. I am trying to figure out what to use for a prowler :grimacing:

I thought you had a sled? If not, I think you could just do mountain climbers or lunge walks. That “6th point” is optional anyway - I didn’t do it most the time because it threw me off to go find the extra equipment

I have a pull sled just not push sled. I will have the dig some stuff and build one.

You gotta commit man!

I’m honestly excited for the idea. We all have our own comfort zone. I try to push myself out of it, but fail (as @loganator saw in my log). I like the idea of my word, even on the internet, holding me to it.
I had a boss many years ago, who I adored, who said none of us can truly push ourselves - we need to enlist the aid of someone else to push us.

Do a 3 sec hold at the top and loaded stretch after each set.

The whole walk is a loaded stretch! I’ll throw in some shrugs at the end though, grip hasn’t been an issue on then lately so shouldn’t be a problem

How long are your walks? Each set of 10 the way I described them will get you a minute or more of time under tension (assuming you stretch for at least 20-30 sec).

That looks interesting. Bookmarked

Uh… okay… that a nice way of putting it
Should old people even be jumping like that?

It’s been a long day, subtlety has completely worn off I’m afraid.
