I’m pretty happy with my hodgepodge of a program so far, no real urge to change it up. Only real changes I may make is add in some supersetted ab work.
I’m doing, you could say. Currently sitting outside letting the sun and cool breeze dry me off, wondering why I ever thought I could implement any of Pwn’s training practices.
I can’t fathom what it is. I just saw videos of an animal - some kind of shaved gorilla with a cap- grunting and moving impossible weights in a very dark basement and I didn’t want to know more about it.
I think my legs are going to make a stupid amount of progress with my current routine, still getting DOMS a month in. Waking up tired after 9+ hours of sleep so may be time for a deload.
I’m 100% to program with no changes other than I’m getting stronger ![]()
I’m going strong, but already loathe the program. I’m glad 531 has open options for assistance, or I’d have probably ditched it by now. I really feel though that I’m heading into some real PR territory soon.
Going outstanding so far. I can tell my conditioning is improving, which wasn’t really a goal but a nice side note to include. No changes so far to the program but I may switch out barbell curls to something a bit more functional. Also they seem to be giving my left shoulder and elbow some issues, which I’m not cool with.
I’m actually sticking with mine!
Jealous of everyone. I’m awaiting an mri and praying for nothing serious. But for now I’m taking a break with shoulder weakness.
I haven’t logged much (even though I’ve been on here, haha) but I haven’t missed any workouts. Leg workouts already feel much easier and I’m less sore, and I anticipate some higher weights soon. Really enjoying it!
Good! Obeying all the broad strokes, some minor perturbations on assistance because of equipment availability and progressing (started out with Pilates Leg Curls, these are GHRs now) but staying within the template.
I’m undertaking a secondary personal challenge/commitment.
I have put away the scales (food and bodyweight). I will no longer weigh myself every morning and I won’t be measuring and tracking my food. This is part of my journey to find a body and lifestyle that makes me happy.
So far so good. Will finish out this cycle and go from there. Getting antsy though. Recovery has been good, but just don’t feel like I am doing enough.
Don’t give in there, trust the process. Just think, what would @MarkKO say?
