Looking over the Invictus site now. Any clue what the difference is between the “Performance” and the “Fitness” WODS?
Not sure, but if I had to guess, performance is probably for CF’ers trying to make regionals/games and fitness is for everyone else, esp if performance consistently has higher volume/intensity than fitness. But, I’m sure they’d tell you if you email/look around.

Maybe not this one…since Rudy “accidentally” punched his wife in the face after she asked him not to let his mistress work out at their gym.

Hipster asshole.
I agree, he’s an asshole. I wouldn’t want to hang with him. But his programming is good, esp if you are looking for an Oly bias. He routinely sends people to the Games.
Yea, but I would rather go something like OPT if I had a chance to qualify.

Unlike Rudy, James has actually gone to the games and won.

Right, I forgot about OPT. Is Fitzgerald still affiliated with CF?

Edit; Also, I don’t agree that to be a great programmer or even coach you have to have been a great athlete. Sometimes true, but not always.

No CF gave him the same treatment that they gave Dan John, Robb Wolf, Ripp and so many more.

HQ is the worst.

#Fitness.

I have a friend that rented out a industrial unit and started up a crossfit facility. They have since torn down the wall to the spot next to them and about tripled the size. In that place they added platforms, GHRs, RHs, sleds, plenty of racks, and whole host of other shit. If it wasn’t so damn expensive that would be my home 3+ days/week. I’d get a break and it would still probably be $100/month. I’m paying $10 at my little hole in the wall now.

They do offer (or they did, it’s been a while) free Saturday WODs which I used to go hang out and do those. When I do 4x/week training, one of those days is typically some WOD or something like that I pulled off a website somewhere to challenge my training partners.

That’s cheap. Most CF boxes charge $150-$160 per month. My CF box includes free Olympic lifting coaching for that price, and we have several platforms, a good deal of bumpers, and a few decent bars, but still.

Seen it before? Already posted in this thread? I don’t know…doesn’t matter. Watch it. GAINS!!
