The one for Cali doesn’t make sense because Cali is also where all the health nuts and scammer influencer chicks go + hollywood
Texas doesn’t make sense bc “everything is bigger in texas” stereotype. There should at least be some bbq and burgers
Yeah, that was part of the controversy mentioned in the article about this: stereotypes.
Not sure how they fed the AI, but with a generative model based on European stereotypes, I understand the images it came up with. Think “Texas” as a European and you probably think of guns and the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. Ask an American to think about a stereotypical German and we think of Oktoberfest and lederhosen.
One thing for sure: They all think we eat at McDonald’s a lot. And statistically, well… yeah. America is fatter than Europe in general, but they’re catching up.

Think South Dakota and they’ll draw a blank. The same with Kansas (is the Wizard of Oz a thing in Europe?) or Maine. Philadelphia Phillies? They might recognize the New York Yankees, maybe, but the Phillies? I call bullshit or the pool of Europeans was very small and not really representative of the average European.

Lots of Europeans love the idea of the Wild West. A cousin married a Swiss guy and his family showed up their wedding in the Black Hills (wow, cowboys and Indians!) in full cowboy gear. When my family lived overseas plenty of of people were disappointed to hear that we had running water and electricity back home, and that we drove cars, not horses, to where we needed to go.

Yes. At the very least, it is well known in Russia and parts of Eastern Europe. Not sure about Western Europe, but the story does have reach outside of the US.
I can’t speak for the other states but I can tell you I look just like that when I go to Tractor Supply.

As someone living in Europe, I think Florida Girl should be wrestling an alligator and California girl should be hot, but otherwise it’s spot on.
