The Roberto Clemente! Going from the point over to the north shore!

That used to be the best walk to & from concerts.

I was originally thinking sex act or exercise.

Interestingly enough, the sex act did require a winch - not the exercise.

I was thinking something like this:

What were you going to the North Shore for?

An electrical toggle switch that is activated by a rocking motion and is set up in a double gang configuration.

What devil or witch is so great as Atiila whose blood flows through these veins - Dracula

Nothing. Just walking

There’s a good bit of cool stuff over there.
The Carnegie Science Center is neat, and they host some interesting exhibits, a few cool/trendy restaurants & whatnot.

I used to listen to 102.5 WDVE when I lived on the other side of the state in the Allentown area. A co-worker of mine turned me on to it and we could listen to it because we had internet at work in the year 2000. Great station, or at least it was a quarter century ago.

He was from Johnstown originally. I went over to his house once to shoot guns and he tried to get me to smoke some crack with him. It was my first time shooting a CZ pistol and the extra heft of the all-steel frame made it a really easy gun to shoot. Definitely something I’d like to add to the collection someday.

Every so often somebody comes along whose brilliance shines long beyond their lifetime. L.C. Tiffany was one of them.

I really dislike articles like this written by registered dietitians:

  1. Usually they warn against things like avocados because of their fat content. Most still abide by the very low-fat diet rules.
  2. Yes, avocados are high in calories, which puts them on lists like this. But no consideration is given to the effects of those calories on later meals (have some avocado, get satisfied, and easily resist snacks and desserts later).
  3. No obese person ever got that way from eating avocados, so why scare normies away from a very healthy food? Just tell them to skip the bag of fried flour they use to scoop their guac.

I cannot agree hard enough.

A few years ago I was floating the idea of a Culinary Medicine course with a local hospital as a CME course, but the RDs the hospital required were the most dogmatic, stubborn, skinny-fat individuals, and it never got developed.

Any article that claims to be written by an RD is clickbait trash.
