DL video. This is set 4 of 5. I was really focusing on pulling back. I noticed that I have a bit of a pelvic tilt happening as I begin to break it off the floor when I pull back. The last two reps my hips came up fast. I need to focus on speed and driving my hips through once I get the bar off the floor.
Nice pulls ouroboro! BTW, I cleaned up my training room.
Pics or it didn’t happen :)
Take a look a the latest video on my training log ;-}

I doubt I’m the only one that walks around their house in their underwear stopping periodically to set up imaginary deadlifts to review the mechanics of it.
HA! I work from home. Underwear and flannel PJ’s are standard work attire. Hell, I usually don’t even get dressed until PM when I go to the gym.

Is there a reason you chose one over the other?
I’m trying sumo because it tends to be a more effective way for women to deadlift because we get a lot of our power from our hips and butts. It feels a bit more natural to me despite the fact that I resemble a big spider when I do them.

louie had some great deadlifting tips… pulling straight legged sumo for awhile, to help your conventional pulls.
the voice that said, “that almost killed me” is one of our hookerfaces…the blonde u see later… lou strapped 10lb ankle weights to her, had her lay front down on a sponge (huge, gymnastic style) and curl 100 times.
I felt pretty strong tonight. I wasn’t sure going in if I’d be able to do all the sets at 195 but I managed. Ddot was around to check my form. A couple of them were ugly and I could feel it. I good morninged a couple by mostly they felt fine.
When I was done squatting, a guy came over and said he’d never seen a woman squat that much. My pseudo boyfriend was there and we both said, “you haven’t seen Court”
In other news, I could two sheets of plywood from work for my new home gym. The guys at work loaded them in. They fit very nicely. When I got home, I couldn’t get the rear of the van open to get them out. I got a saw and started to try and saw through two sheets of plywood while it was hung over the van seats. I ended up pissed off and left them there.
When I left the gym, my pseudo boyfriend took a look at the latch but sadly, his Y chromosome was not sufficient to get it open. However, when I got home, it popped and I got the plywood out. When I shut it, it jammed again. I’m taking it to get fixed tomorrow.
Normally I’d leave it but on Saturday, I’m making my way to Port Perry to get 700lbs of plates. Courtesey of TNT-Cdn. Before that, I’m heading to Barrie to get a power rack, texas power bar and resistance bands from a guy in Sudbury. All I need now is a bench.
I am sooooooooooooooooooo jealous. That i very cool news, sorry about the van.
Im going to do the home gym thing-
at the weekend shack a rack and weights wont cut it in the 387 sq ft apartment.
Will your kids still talk to you?
I rely on you to check my squat form. The ass checking is covered by random strange women and a couple of other guys that seem happy enough to provide cream for my ass.
No just mine either. Seems my buddy is pining for Court.
