It sucks that you are disappointed, but I’m impressed.
Thanks very much. I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures. Six months ago my performance would have made me ecstatic. My personal expectation bar has risen rather quickly and I just received a big ego lesson.
I’d start to worry once your expectations don’t seem grand!

Thanks. I picked that one even though it was a fail because I fought like a bitch for it.
By the way, I still let everyone believe you’re my boyfriend.

? Me? You can let them think I’m your bf any day, but I’m sure you are not talking to me…

I was referring to Ruggerlife. We were watching a meet together in March and I introduced him around as my friend. I think people believed he was my ‘friend’. That would have been cool because he’s a hot younger man. However, between the two of us we had a ton of kids with us and looked like a nursury school.
Next time you should come and I’ll mislead people into thinking you’re my ‘friend’. This is how I trick people into thinking I have a life.

Yes, I’m using the Centurion and I love it. I wear a size 32 but think I should go to a 30. I didn’t have any problem getting it to work for me.
So who else that competes gets a huge mental and emotional down stroke after a meet? You spend however long gearing up for this event and then once it’s over it’s like ‘what now’? Kind of like drifting and unmoored.
Anyway. For the next few weeks I’ll be doing lifts that aren’t the big three. I’m looking for advice, guidance and ideas. I’m brain dead.
So far I have:
Overhead squats (haven’t done these in a while)
Front squats
Step ups (just watched Molly’s video this morning)
Zercher squats
Lunges (although the last time I did these, I pulled a quad)
Bulgarian split squats (never done them and this looks like an excellent opportunity to pull something else)
Good mornings
power cleans
pull ups
barbell rows
cable rows
-Any other back moves would be great
tricep push downs
skull crushers
dips
barbell curls
dumbell curls
Push press
Overhead press
Flys (I’ve never done these)
Actually, if someone could email a workout plan for 7-8 days incorporating one squat variation, a back movement and other stuff that would be great. Ddot, are you over your cold yet? In return, I promise to be greatful

I know I’m super lazy right now.
Yeah, I am at work today, so I am over my head cold.
I’ll see what I can do (given your guidelines) by the end of the day.

I know what you mean about feeling so bleh after a meet. It’s like having really great sex and then finding out you can’t have it again for a long time.
I thought ddot’s gf or PMPM had his balls, but apparently you do Ouro…listen to that whip crack
PS. I still have Rugger’s if you want them. I’m looking to trade.

You must have only one of RL’s because I have the other one. He compiled and excellent song list for me for my new Ipod.
Of course there is still the possibility that they are both just very helpful, sweet people. Don’t tell anyone though.

Ouro,
You should make sure ddot gives you a bit of a body building program. Even if you don’t go up a weight class, you should at least try to fill out the one you’re currently in!
I just realized Court mentioned that this 55kgs was the most you have weighed in a meet yet! A couple kgs of muscle could really help add some weight to your total. Also with your metabolism, you would never have trouble dropping a kg or so to make weight.

That is something I’ve been thinking about. To that end, I had two bowls of ice cream last night after eating 3 fried eggs, 2 slices of toast and corned beef hash (that is damn good stuff).
When I read the first paragraph, I read body pulling program. I thought it would be some odd ball gpp involving pulling Todd on a sled.

Are you saying I’m too skinny?
I’m going back in the gym tomorrow night (so 6 days no lifting) but will be staying away from back squats, deads and bench for a couple more weeks. Ddot is very kindly putting something together for me the incorporates squat variations with light weights and some assistance stuff. My mental health is such that I need to do something.

Yes, I’m using the Centurion and I love it. I wear a size 32 but think I should go to a 30. I didn’t have any problem getting it to work for me.
Thanks for the feedback. How did you determine size? Did you just tell titan your measurements? Did you order through Titan? Did it take long to come in?
thanks again
Claire
PS - Leg Presses are good if you want to deload your spine.

I ordered it through the Canadian rep but got the sizing of the Corporate Titan website.
I hope you have as much success with it as I have. Now my Fury is a different story
