Video of the 210 squat. The boy did the video and got all of my struggles with my belt taped for posterity.

Yesterday evening we had a PL Club field trip to a local bodybuilding competition. It was the first one I’ve been to and the next step in my career is to be a bodybuilder. I made the boy promise to help me with my routine.
One of the women (first place winner) used to train with Bill.
My boss took 2nd place in the men’s.
Court’s hot gym friend took 2nd in his category.
My ex’s ex didn’t place. She has great hair but looks like a stick insect.
I also made this kick ass diorama that I expect to get an ‘A’ on.
Great video and cute hair ;p

Thanks. Amazingly the good hair is important to me.
If you listen, you can hear Billy say, “Big chest. Stick it out.” I felt like telling him no matter what I do, it never gets bigger than an A cup. Stop making fun of me. He doesn’t have much of a sense of humour though.
That 210 didn’t look as hard as you think it was.
Have you decided on openers yet?

Court just said the same thing about the 210. I think it just seemed hard because I crapped out on the first attempt and my biggest roadblock is my own brain. However, even my 95lb warmups felt heavy today so I hope it was just a bad day and not the beginning of a downstroke.
What I’m thinking is
Squat: 190, 205, 215 (I’d love this to be 225 - we’ll see)
Bench: 95, 105, 110 (This was the line up in London and I never got past 95. I should do better this time but my bench remains weak)
DL: 215, 235, 255 (or 260)
I just got the list for Ottawa and so far there are only 3 women and I’m the only one in my weight class. Of the three women I know in my weight/age class one I’ve confirmed for sure will not be there.
Maybe the other registered by last Friday deadline. There are no women registered for juniors. There are 2 M1 lifters (including me in 56kg and one in 67.5kg) and one M2 lifter in 60kg.
This is a bit sucky.
Three things:
-
Who is that spotting the near side of the bar? Mr. I don’t know how to spot?
-
I’m highly entertained by how challenged you are getting on your belt. Then again I shouldn’t talk because I just got mine and it’s super stiff right now…But it’s pink so it’s okay

-
Would it be wrong for me to hit on the juniors after they’re done lifting? I’m not THAT much older than them afterall. Although maybe the boy would prefer I do it during to distract them…then again, that might break his heart and he might choke.
It must have been quiet and weird at the barn today without both Pete and I. That means you would have been left to be the cheery happy person and we both know that’s not really your forte. For that, I aplogize and I’m sure Pete does too.

btw, I read your comment in PushmePullme’s log about nationals and didn’t want to hijack it. When I was talking to the boy today, he said he mentioned to Bill about me going to Moosejaw and Bill thought I should.
The more I think about it, the more I want to. I really need to get my numbers up though. Also cash is a big issue. I need a life sponsor or sugar daddy. Barring that, I think there are ways to get gov’t grants.
I’m picking up a Titan Fury shirt from Louis Leveque while in Ottawa so will have it for Niagara. Are you still considering coming down? There are only 16 spots left.

I saw that comment as well and thought about hijacking…but I couldn’t stop laughing for long enough to type. You could always give up the hookers and/or become one yourself. ‘Someone I know’ told me they make good money.

1.) Yes that is Mr. I don’t know how to spot. He kept touching the bar when the boy was doing heavy board presses.
2.) I know I have issues getting dressed. That’s why Pete’s there.
3.) Defo hit on the juniors. I’ll be hitting on the masters. My real goal is not to get big numbers. It’s to get laid. I’ve already circled a few likely prospects on the lifters list and will be googling them shortly.
I would go for the juniors but they would be less likely to be able to finance my trip to Moosejaw. Ahhhh, that right there has a sexy, romantic ring to it. Moosejaw, April, powerlifting. It’s better than a back rub by a deaf mute.

I better get on it then. I want to come for sure, but I also want to go to the Nationals. After the bills get paid at the end of the month we’ll see how he cash flow is.
I’m thinking I’d best get in some gear, soon.
Nice squat in the video.

How do you tell him gently to GFY and not touch the bar while spotting? I’m entertained that Bill still has him doing 8s. Why would he have changed on his own anyway? And to 5/4/3/2/1? I’m a bitch. Oh well.
-
I’ll get your straps up for you and yank on your belt if need be in Ottawa. Pete’s fingers are going to be sore from getting the boy into all of his shit.
-
You are a sick pervert and I love it. Your real goal for London was to qualify for provincials so you could meet men from across the province. Then you decided to compete in those so you could go to MJ and get laid by men coast to coast.
Can’t you hack into the Revenue Canada database and figure out what all of these guys make in a year? It’ll help narrow down the prospects list. Who cares if they’re cute, you can always just close your eyes, or paper bag them ![]()
All y’all (that’s the plural of “y’all”) best be doing Canadian Nationals and whatnot…if you don’t make IPF Worlds, how will we ever get to meet?

I’m leaning towards nationals. I may qualify for Worlds by default because no one else is showing up. I’m in masters though. If that’s the case, I’m in serious need of those socks you’ve got.
Courtney should qualify very shortly though. Together you two of you could make all the young boys cry.

I already do make boys cry. But, I don’t discriminate based on age. Young, old, I make 'em all cry.
How about we don’t get ahead of ourselves and instead of working at getting me to my first meet and completing it without killing myself. How’s that for number one goal?

We know you make boys cry. It gets embarrassing when the boy suddenly has floating eyes because of you. You know, when your eyes fill up suddenly with tears. He tries to be strong but isn’t always successful.
You need to think big. I think small enough for everyone. I think you’ll do really well numbers wise in Niagara. That doesn’t mean you won’t look like a tool but that’s another matter altogether.
