A cautionary tale for those who identify with the Democratic Party

If you are referring to the post directly above the “are you drunk” post, then no! Just being real. You are the one who lives in a capitalist fantasy world.

Without sacrificing children. But hey, I guess you really don’t care about Palestinian children after all.

You’ve yet to answer my question. What is the percentage of children used in suicide bombings and what is your source?

Yeah as if you care about children.

See, this question recognizes that children are used in suicide attacks. And it doesn’t matter what the number is, as it should be zero. Therefore, I have no need nor inclination to know what the number is, as it is irrelevant to my point and makes you a real weirdo to think that the number makes some kind of difference. Understand, I don’t play your game. I said it’s sick, twisted and wrong. You obviously disagree. Nothing else needs to be said.

You could be right, you could be wrong. You would need a source to prove it.

5% would be a lot less than 70% and it does matter. Maybe not to a person who thinks it’s okay for the IDF to kill tens of thousands of children because of Oct. 7th. But to most people who identify as human and have a modicum of morality it’s not okay.

Not to the 5%.

If you are talking about Palestine life expectancy from birth as estimated in 2024 is 75.5… this even extends to Gaza

Lesotho has lowest life expectancy at 50

Highest is Monaco at 87

I hear North Korea has a nice life expectancy…

Imagine making excuses for using children as suicide bombers (something Hamas has done since the very beginning)

Mossab Hasan Yousef single handedly busted many suicide bombers including at one point a man who was responsible for the creation of a good portion (I think it was half?) of all suicide vests hitting Israeli streets at the time.

He specifies he managed to stop quite a few child suicide bombers from reaching their goal targets.

“It’s not THAT many child suicide bombers! Relax!!”

Oh wow, I didn’t know it was that much older. Thanks.

May I ask why you prefer the King James above other versions? (I’m not looking to argue with you or anything - I just don’t remember if you’ve said why and I am sincerely curious.)

It is not that I prefer the King James Bible, it is my belief that the KJV is the perfect inerrant word of God. This is not a very popular opinion. I have posted many defenses of the KJV on T-Nation Off Topic and Politics and World Issues forums.

Now brace yourself. I have. I might be back on the defense…

Thanks. I know it’s come up before, but I don’t always read every thread and I couldn’t remember if I’d seen you explain why.

No, I am not. Curious where the U.S. is?

But to others…

And that’s why you’re a weirdo and hypocrite.

Not great compared to the rest of the western world. Still below 80 (79)

Remember the USA is the most obese country on the planet

Whenever I go back to the USA (once every 3-5 years or so) i’m gobsmacked at the size of the average meal one can order at a diner

Australia is roughly 3rd for obesity and every second advertisement here is either for liquor, junk food or gambling. I think our life expectancy is 84-85 compared to Americas.

But if I go to watch a film in cinemas and order a LARGE coke it’s LITERALLY the same size as a small in the USA

I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to maintain a healthy weight when the average lunch at your local diner clocks in at 1200 calories.

A meal at KFC in Aus is usually around 700 calories.

America isn’t just number one… but it’s number one by a fairly decent margin. That is what I believe pulls Americas life expectancy down. Most western countries have a life expectancy of 80+

As to my comment about North Korea. We actually don’t know the life expectancy over there but given the extremely dire conditions like the famine that occured in the 90s that killed 3 million North Koreans I’d imagine median life expectancy to be below Lesotho. They report a median life expectancy of 73 but only provide updates once in a blue moon… North Korea isn’t exactly fourthcoming

In the USA life expectancy did dip to 76 during covid but it’s now up to 79.25

It is certainly a main contributor. Advertising, marketing of junk food with scientists whose job it is to make that garbage taste as good as possible, to the point where it can become an addiction but, hey it’s all for another buck so it’s worth it. Viva la late-stage capitalism!

This simply highlights that infant and child mortality was high, which skews the overall life expectancy figures. It doesn’t mean that adults died at age 35.

No proof of that. I thought it was 35 now it is 20?

Paleolithic man was living into their 50’s if they survived childhood.

There are many Capitolist countries with low obesity rates

Look at the Netherlands. They’ve implemented cycling infrastructure all over main cities. Most people in Amsterdam bike to and from work

They still have junk food, although it is advertised less.

A Capitolist country doesn’t HAVE to advertise junk food all the time. Many don’t. Many have “sin taxes” and hike the prices of sugary drinks, fast food/junk food.
