As to age of getting married we actually do have rules on this.
Legally the minimum age of marriage was defined by whether you’d had your bar mitzvah or bat mitzvah (so 13 for boys, 12 for girls) although even back then getting married so young was heavily, heavily discouraged. The young age of marriage was put in for circumstances of exile or persecution wherein it was necessary to keep the blood line going. And in exceptional circumstances because jews were persecuted so much women could be bethrothed between the ages of 4-12 but sexual intercourse with said women was prohibited in talmudic times owing to their young age.
The exceptions only refered to cases wherein imminent death was on the cards i.e. persecution or exile. It was so common Jewish scripture has a specific set of rules drafted up for when this happens.
The talmud specifically references marriage should be restricted to when one has absolutely finished maturing from the perspective of secondary sexual characteristic development. So if a woman was 12 but hadn’t finished developing marriage would generally be restricted.
The talmud recommends a man gets married at eighteen, and provides an age range between 16-24.
Keep in mind the average lifespan back then was only around 35.
In cases where men or women were bethrothed young, either party engaging in sexual intercourse was punishable by lashing.

Legally speaking via Halakha if a woman is below the age of three and someone has sexual intercourse (rape) with the woman the woman is still considered a virgin. Sex with a woman aged nine or younger is considered illegitimate and sex below the age of twelve was illegal. To he married at age twelve it was often the case that one had finished puberty which was and is exceedingly rare.

When men and women did get married at 12-14 even then it had to be explicitly approved by parents.

The reccommend age for marriage in the talmud is 16-18 for women back in those days. Now we know better… and infant mortality rates are higher for 18 year old women. Optimal age to give birth is arguably around 25 if we refer to minimising all cause mortality rates associated with pregnancy (epidemiological standpoint).
“Shemonah Esreh Lachupah” in the Talmud refers to the recommended age of marriage. That quote literally translated means “eighteen”.

This figure only applies when taking into account high infant mortality rates, not the typical lifespan of adults.

The average could very well be 35 years old.
Granted the distribution curve is bi-modal. It should be analyzed as such. The distribution curve should be analyzed with the infant mortality persons removed from the set of ages at death.

If you look at this link re life expectancy in Wales in 1850 life expectancy at birth was 41.6. In biblical times it was half that.
If you lived til age 5 life expectancy was 55
So 1000+ years before that when the average life expectancy was roughly half of what it was in 1850 what do you think the average life expectancy was if you survived come the age of 5-10-18?

The Ethiopian Bible originated around the 6th Century.
