A cautionary tale for those who identify with the Democratic Party

Isn’t that why Mary was still a virgin after having been married to Joseph?

Mary was with child just before she married Joseph. She was a virgin because she was neither a harlot nor married.

After the birth of Jesus, she was an honest wife and had sexual relations with her lawful husband and birthed some children of Joseph.

Matt 1:24, “Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.”

I don’t know if it can be written any plainer.

It was sort of a shotgun wedding, but forced by God, and you’re not even the baby daddy - He is.

That’s why Joseph didn’t stick around for the crucifixion. He figured that was between Jesus and his real daddy. Joseph also told his kids afterward, “remember that time you said you wished you had the same daddy as Jesus? You still feel that way now?”

Thank you for sharing what you did know.
@unreal24278 can you please shed light on this?

According to my reading of the Quran, there are a portion of Christians and Jews that shall have no fear nor shall they grieve. They are few among them, the majority do not have true belief.
Quran 2:62 and 3:113 for example

My memory from Hadith has pieces that can go either ways for Hindus, Buddhists, atheists - if they hadn’t rejected the truth in this world then they get a special test on Judgement Day if I remember correctly..

I am not familiar with what you are referring to. You are almost definitely not going to like this. I do remember hearing a few weeks ago about a knife attack in … somewhere in the UK where they blamed it on an immigrant Muslim and then there were anti Muslim riots.
And then it turned out the guy was actually a Christian and debatable whether he was even an immigrant.

Knife attacks are illegal. The law should be applied the same if it is a Muslim or Christian. Do you think that Christian will be charged with terrorism? Should he?

I do not feel that the Muslim community should recognize knife attacks as terrorist attacks. Maybe if I was more familiar with other information I would have a different view but I doubt it

I don’t think I have and I don’t think I will. “Would” depends on circumstances however, so if I said “no” it might be a lie.

I remember a French teacher showing something like that in a classroom and getting killed and they turned him into a national hero. I don’t consider that to be a hero and believe he should have been fired. Public schoolteachers have a captive audience and that’s not free speech.

I do not consider Muhammad (saw) to need my defense, nor do I consider him (saw) a pedophile.

I think you need my defense.

If you’d belittle an ancient Jewish couple so harshly for enjoying the freedoms afforded by Jewish law, that would seem to be extremely at odds with Judeo-Christian values that this society is supposedly built upon. It would seem to be blasphemy to my potential misunderstanding of Christianity.

I would think the Christian understanding would be that Jewish law was either authored by Jesus (as) or his alleged father. I recall some phrase to the effect of Jesus (as) was sent not to change the (Jewish) law, but to fulfill it - so your mockery may well be a rejection of Jesus (as). I also recall something to the effect of Jesus (as) being the way to the father - but if you make fun of his dad’s laws then maybe you are actually on the other train heading in the other direction

Funny as it might sound coming from me - especially now - I think Matthew 7 has some special things for you. Jesus (as) is clearly telling someone who thinks he’s Christian that he actually isn’t. That Jesus (as) doesn’t even know. Never did. Never will?

In light of Matthew 7:1 it seems I can afford to put a question mark instead of a period for now. If I was thinking like a Christian I would probably be thinking it’s in the Bible to help somebody realize they should really try to change.

The weirdest thing is that anybody … no… that’s enough

wrong

My memory/understanding is that the Jewish punishment for treason was carried out according to Jewish law. Am I wrong on that point?

You say boys while I do not.
I can say that it is wrong to execute boys who surrender.

For the 5th time - are you Christian?
For the 3rd time - are you Islamophobic?
For the 3rd time - are you part of a groomer gang?

Why not just have police enforce the law? Does that sound a bit too “let them eat cake?”

As a Muslim I believe in the virgin birth. But I didn’t think Mary (ra) got married before giving birth to Jesus (as). You just gave me a mechanism for understanding more confusion for her (ra) accusers.

See, I’ve already told you I know how Muslims argue. You try to be clever, I call it duplicitous, by changing definitions of terms to fit your narrative of reality.

Yes, in some cultures and historical periods, a male was considered an adult at an age earlier than we recognize today. But, by our civilized standards today, we consider a male under 18 to be a boy and/or minor. So by our standards Muhammad murdered, yes murdered, boys. This is a fact. Muhammad committed what we now would define as war crimes. That’s your demonic false prophet.

Muhammad was a piece of trash. There is nothing a civilized person should find admirable about him. He is no hero or role model. Live like him in a civilized nation and you’re a criminal and pervert.

I’ve always said they contribute nothing of true value / use to society

Maybe this isn’t the best analogy but it’s like when you hear some white, woke, liberal woman talking about how she hates, and even fears, the police and how they should be defunded or whatever. But, she says this knowing full well she will always have the option to dial 911.

AOC pulled something similar when she a world without police looks like the suburbs. Meanwhile, she was supposedly scared to death on Jan. 6 and praying for I wonder who to come save her. I doubt any of those idiots in DC were upset there was a police presence there; they were upset there weren’t more police there.

That’s how they reason. They want a particular result and do everything they can to make sure they don’t get it. Then they decide that the reason for failure is that they didn’t do enough (translation: spend enough) of whatever they were doing that wasn’t working.

They don’t live in or face reality or the consequences of their psychotic trash… but black Americans do. Oh the irony.

The police have been hamstrung by liberal vermin… all over America, as it were.

Holy long winded non-answer. It’s amazing how someone can type so much and say nothing.

This is liberal thinking: complain about the police and how they treat people, particularly people of color. For the sake of argument, let’s say they sometimes have a point and the cops could have, and should have, handled particular situations differently. Now, a response to these complaints could be, “well, you could always not break the law and avoid these confrontations in the first place, making how the cops handle it a moot point.”

Liberals see that statement as racist or something but, they see some truth in it: criminal behavior means police contact. So what do they do? Change laws and policies so that what was once a crime is no longer a crime. Problem solved. Them Walmart and Target leave communities because of theft and the liberal response to that is to accuse them of racism. They’ll ask, “why don’t you care about the community?” They need to be asked that question.

If you are speaking of Christian understanding, His “alleged” Father is never used.

Unlike Mohammad, Jesus has always been with His Father.

John 1:1, " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Before his birth Mohammad knew nothing at all. Jesus was with God when He gave the Law to the Jews.

Potential misunderstanding?

You once again hijack Matthews 7:1 and make application to judgment from God. You must rip it out of context to make that interpretation. Jesus is speaking to the second greatest commandment that He spoke of in Matthew chapter 22:

Matt 22:36, "Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38This is the first and great commandment.
39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Matthew 7:1 is the most widely claimed verse that non-Christians have at the tip of their tongue. Welcome to the masses of Christian deniers who want to silence Christians.

As far as Matthew 7:1 goes:

He is following the Muslim playbook.

It’s funny because I saw a video where a Muslim, who was Middle Eastern, was asking a black African how he could be a Christian since it’s a white/European religion. I guess he should be a Muslim, even though Islam isn’t African either. The African man responded that Jesus was not European but from the Middle East. He silenced the Muslim with that. This is the Islamic grift. Call Christianity the white man’s religion to convince black people to convert to Islam. They leave out the fact that Arab Muslims were engaged in the slave trade of black Africans before Europeans. They leave out that slavery was legal well into the 20th century in the Arab world. They leave out they were colonizers, conquerers and empire builders. And they count on people being ignorant of these facts. The greatest fear a Muslim apologist has is fear of the truth.

Bingo … Just like the “food deserts” they claim are in every colored community. Another liberal myth. St Louis tried “healthy” grocery stores in the fucking hood… they failed miserably. They suck at everything not arts and leisure.

Yes. You can’t parse or pick out single verses to get the intended message and understanding of what Jesus was saying; you need to look at the entire gospel to fully comprehend the message. You probably need to take into account all of the gospels. You quoted John, where he writes of the Word. Then in Matthew you have Jesus asking why David called the Messiah “Lord” and not son if he, David was the father of the Messiah. It makes it clear who Jesus is claiming to be and what his nature, the best word I can think of at the moment, is. Jesus was, while on Earth, the Word incarnate, and He existed with God from the beginning.

Food deserts is funny. I lived in an inner city and there were several supermarkets. Even if you find a neighborhood in an inner city without a supermarket, there will be one relatively close in a better area. It’s not like there are walls surrounding bad neighborhoods that keep residents in.

And given how inner city residents are pretty much all on foodstamps, there is an economic incentive for supermarkets to make themselves accessible to inner city residents. So if they leave the area, it’s because of financial reasons, not racism.

Exactly.

The guy who stabbed the little girls had a Rwandan background, so chances are that he wasn’t Muslim. People thought he was because Police didn’t disclose information, and stabbing incidents perpetrated by Muslims seem to be a daily ocurrence in jolly old England.

If a Christian goes around stabbing people in the name of Jesus, yes, he should. That’s not something that happens often, now, is it? You understand the definition of Terrorism, I presume.

You don’t think stabbing and slitting innocent people’s throaths in the name of Allah is an act of terrorism?

Fair enough, but do you believe he should have been killed?

Last question (I think):

Do you believe western society would be better off living under Sharia law?

If a Christian goes around stabbing people in the name of Jesus, he is called mentally deranged and belongs in a mental institute.

If a Muslim goes around stabbing people in the name of Allah, he is called an Islamic extremist.

Search the work of Jesus and His sayings and there is no mention of violence to be found… anywhere. The only violent act by Him or His disciples was corrected by Jesus to the point it was as if He turned back time to correct it.
