The Prowler came yesterday, but I won’t play with it until after the meet.
This morning I jumped when my alarm clock went off and now my back hurts.
Last Saturday I played with my deadlifts again, and I’m definitely lowering my opener. Grrr.

Yeah. I decided to lower my bench opener. Not that it can get much lower . . .
So, opinions, please. Raw Nationals in Denver, or the following week, NAPF/Pan Ams in Puerto Rico?
Heh heh heh.
puts hand up puerto rico sounds warmer then Denver. It gets my vote.

Warm sand and blue water ftw.
x4 I wonder if it will be outside. We would have outside meets in Hawaii good good times.
If you go to the Pan Ams, you don’t have to compete raw this weekend. Is your coach going to be there to help you Saturday?
Ron will be there, but I’m not going to try to suit up to compete this weekend when I haven’t squatted in equipment since December. I will still go, compete, get a total, and play Raw Nats by ear. If Ron needs a female teammate (I know in 2008 they required at least two females), maybe I will lift openers or something at it.
I definitely think PR is 1) a more prestigious meet, and 2) Hello, Puerto Rico!!!
you should do both!..if possible…or just go to Puerto Rico anyways
you can do this lil denver meet in your sleep no doubt

Yeah, I thought about doing both, but meets really are physically and emotionally draining. I don’t know if I would be peaked for PR if I did Raw Nats.

How many weeks apart. If its 3 Hell yeah you can bounce back. Less than that then only you know.

Anyone else I would say, Pick one and as MIM said KILL IT.
OH! i thought you meant puerto rico was in a week form like now, yeah you are right…
.plus i forgot that traveling sucks too…well it makes me all drained and stuff. that’s awesome you have that oppurtunty, no matter if you take it or not!
I’ll be doing PR, and lift openers at Raw Nats if my coach needs a female on his team.
Anyone been to PR before?
Never been to Puerto Rico, but just wishing you good luck when you do.
you’re gonna nail it PMPM-
I’ll call Puerto Rico and warn them that you’re on your way~
Imagine my disappointment when I read this thread was about lifting.
