i dont understand how a simple video of a kid with intentions to bulk up by eating a ton of calories can possibly get a negative response.

bringing in the fact hes rich and has a maid? seriously…wow…just wow. saying all the calories are going to make him fat and unhealthy…its HIS fucking body, mind your own business.

instead of asking why he snorts creatine or if he feels looser form and heavier weights are helping his gains, INFORMATIVE fucking questions, people are bringing all sorts of negativity in here.

It’s because when you’re in your early 20’s there’s nothing you don’t know.

BINGO.

Great video as always Frank

Frank, you mentioned in the youtube comments that you starved yourself for a year with no carbs? Can you further elaborate on this?
Yeah I wanted to look thin like Bruce Lee, but nearly killed myself, so I went with Brad Pitt instead. I basically tried to eat as little carbs as possible for a year and half or so. Probably the only carbs I got was from fruits and veggies. Got really used to it. Lost about 20 pounds slowly.

Why do you eat so much? I know you are trying to “bulk”, but it would be better to ramp up your caloric intake, no?

As far as entertainment goes, 8/10
Why would someone ignore the results they are seeing to “ramp up calories”? If you jack up calories and mostly muscle comes with it, you would be one clueless individual to ignore it and “ramp up” because it is the “better thing to do”.
Yea i look in the mirror and think “Emmm didn;t get fat this week. Keep bumping up the calories”. So far, so good.

awesome vid dude. But is snorting creatinez for srs?
yes i kept emphasizing it so as to not get in trouble on Youtube and in real life.
gabex wrote:
How does Frank Yang eat 8,000 calories?

Apparently not by cooking a single meal for himself

Btw, whats your food budget?
Food is cheaper in taiwan. I do try to eat at home, but it gets harder to eat the same foods meal after meal when u are packing in that much calories a day. I don’t eat out this often every day. Probably only on weekends. OTher than that, the 7 11 downstairs have relatively cheap food with high calorie. Come to Taiwan. It’s the best place to bulk - food everywhere, all the time (even at 2 am when I sleep late and need a pre-bed carb load)

It worked for me. I am not sure why people have a problem with it now.

Instead of hopping on the scale every morning and counting calorie. I just use the mirror. I’m a visual and a feeling person. Never good with numbers.

That date means nothing. I lurked before I joined this site. Then I lurked before I started to post. In fact I think I had my very first post this year.

He’s right though. The fact that people are jumping on him for wanting to bulk up the old fashioned way is truly pitiful.

I blame it on having too many “personal trainers” here. Seriously, read the occupations of everyone who posts up about getting too fat and they will either be a personal trainer, skinny,or both. It’s all about trying to make a name for yorself at the sake of others.

We should be cheering him on because that’s a lot of work to get that many calories.

I’m currently eating, give or take, the same amount of cals.

Given my daily activities, job, and amount of sleep per night and everything else, it’s needed if I want to gain anything. Using cardio as fat control and appetite stimulant this stuff get’s easy.

Looking forward to hear how this goes for you Frank.
What you weighing in at right now and what you pushing for?
250 atm. Goal is 275. Long term I’m looking for 300. Then I plan on stayin on 220-230 area afterwards if my height stops shooting up.

Yep.

When a tried and proven method for adding muscle relatively quickly in a limited spurt is eschewed by dozens on a site for building muscle…you know the duncery is strong here.
yea i agree with you. it only worked for the bodybuilders of the 60s,70s,80s,90s…but now everything has to change. mass monsters like yates and coleman, lee priest…yep they did it all wrong. the new “in thing” is to stay lean while adding solid muscle gains, you know, 1bs per month so that we can still see our abs, just like that leangains fellow has been preaching.

time to rewrite history!!

Shit has gotten retarded. Apparently gains in muscle mass also don’t matter unless in contest shape. Don’t forget that one.

Bulking up has helped a shit load of lifters get huge but now suddenly it doesn’t work? LOL?
Professor X wrote:

Definitely NOT “LOL”.

Frank Yang you’ve been an inspiration to me in art and lifting for years now. Keep it up Broseidon.
