Was doing the timer with my buddies phone and it fell into the pile of stones, then I couldn’t get the screen to come back on so I gave up on the tabata.

For those peeps who are active on the book of faces, go like our gym please.

Nice work Matt!

Thanks bud!

Solid training Matt. Are you working with a particular training program? Sorry, you may mentioned this already.

nah, it’s just what I have kinda developed into over the years. I train each lift on it’s own day and also have a back day. I guide the reps and sets with RTS and by feel. Oh yeah, I also try to end with some sort of conditioning and do at least one strongman lift (which may be both).

Doing some serious work in here. Love the gym.

I’m a network/sys admin for a big steel company. I’m in class for Exchange 2010 this week as we are in the process of converting over right now.

Too much class and work last week, couldn’t drag myself to that joke of a gym.

Several cameos by my son on this, kid with the Captain America shirt. He’s actually a pretty good olympic style weighlifter.

Good lifting, Matt. At first I was horrified by those open doors, then I remembered you’re in Texas, it’s probably in the mid 60s there. and what was that - no noise coming out of the PA system? (Some call it “music”, but I’m not so generous.) Every gym I’ve been at seems in a contest to screech in my ears. Looks like heaven!

I’m late to say welcome.

Cool stuff you’re doing. Looks like you have a long history with lifting.

I have a 13-year-old too. But he’s all about hockey. Very cool that he trains with you!

Yeah, it wasn’t too bad yesterday. 60’s sounds about right, summertime can be a little yucky though. I did get sick of the silence for deads and put on some slayer.

Thanks! He doesn’t really train with me per se, our gym runs a youth strength camp and he does that. We are just in there at the same time, but doing different stuff. It is cool though because I get to help him out a little with form and cues. Not too much though or he gets mad at me.
