Was doing the timer with my buddies phone and it fell into the pile of stones, then I couldn’t get the screen to come back on so I gave up on the tabata.

Solid training Matt. Are you working with a particular training program? Sorry, you may mentioned this already.
nah, it’s just what I have kinda developed into over the years. I train each lift on it’s own day and also have a back day. I guide the reps and sets with RTS and by feel. Oh yeah, I also try to end with some sort of conditioning and do at least one strongman lift (which may be both).
Good lifting, Matt. At first I was horrified by those open doors, then I remembered you’re in Texas, it’s probably in the mid 60s there. and what was that - no noise coming out of the PA system? (Some call it “music”, but I’m not so generous.) Every gym I’ve been at seems in a contest to screech in my ears. Looks like heaven!

Yeah, it wasn’t too bad yesterday. 60’s sounds about right, summertime can be a little yucky though. I did get sick of the silence for deads and put on some slayer.

I’m late to say welcome.
Cool stuff you’re doing. Looks like you have a long history with lifting.
I have a 13-year-old too. But he’s all about hockey. Very cool that he trains with you!
Thanks! He doesn’t really train with me per se, our gym runs a youth strength camp and he does that. We are just in there at the same time, but doing different stuff. It is cool though because I get to help him out a little with form and cues. Not too much though or he gets mad at me.
