5x5 + Hypertrophy + Constant Tension Program

I know, I know. First post. I’m sorry but a friend of mine had great results using a program he found on this site that used 5x5 for the first excercise of a muscle group, followed by 3-4 sets of 10-12 rep type stuff and finished with 3 sets of timed constant tension reps.

I was hoping an admin could link me to that article because I can’t find it for the life of me and I want to see exactly how it was laid out as opposed to taking my friends word for it.

Thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate it and again I am sorry for this being my first post and I am asking for something already.

Ooh… I was just going to post it, but then I saw your screen name. Sorry.

Go Pack.

I believe its Stripped Down Hypertrophy by Joel Marion.

haha! Go Bears means go Cal Bears…not Chicago. Aaron Rodgers was a Bear so we are on the same page SSC. And Forbes thats not the one I was looking for. The premise of this workout was to be using all rep ranges in one workout and switch up the exercise when progress stalled.

Please anyone know which program I am referring to?

From the sounds of it you already know the program - so why not just do it?

edit: I see you explained this in the first post. but nonetheless, the idea of doing “heavy” main exercise and higher rep accessory exercises is pretty standard - exact specs shouldn’t make or break your progress
