well, maybe. I think the drugs play a part but I also think it’s due to the massive feeding required to get that big. You never really see the turtleshell thing in the lighter weight classes.

haha ok just curious, if you want my honest opinion I think your right that is has more to do with crazy amounts of food than anything else, and to Andy do you ever see yourself in the future try out more than 5IU?
I think it is down to massive gh use, massive slin use, massive eating but also dieting down for a show over and over I think puts the most stress on the body… I never plan to compete as my goal is just to be as big and strong as I can be whilst remaining in relativley good condition… Hopefully my conditioning will also improve over time… At the moment I eat ALOT if food, too much really, but im happy lol.
As for the slin amount and other drugs increasing, sure, this is just testing the water… I am not suddenly going to smash serious dosages but adding 5ius in other areas of the day or a larger pre workout amount would be the next step.
Feeling very safe on 75g carbs in shake, so going to start lowering very gradually… Have just done legs, which was a very intense and heavy session, and after drinking 3/4 of the shake I feel “out of the woods” and like I don’t need anymore. Will lower to 65/60g.
As soon as I finished writting that last post about feeling fine, started to feel funny; shaky and slightly sweaty! And im consuming well over 10g of carbs per Iu, so ignore anyone who says you can get away with less and this is why you start at a very safe level! So, will lower slightly on other days but deffinitley keeping it where its at for legs…
Well its only been 3 days and im running 750 Test P and 750 Tren A per week too lol so I don’t think ile notice any recovery improvements… Its stil hard to know whats the slin working and whats placebo/drinking a peri workout shake with carbs in, but, I think my arms are getting fuller already and during my back session yday I deffinitley look like a was bursting out my under armour T lol…
Yes, so adding a 5iu post workout/pre meal shot would be a step up but I deffinitley do not feel comfortable doing that yet… I think becuase my training is very, very, heavy compound focused with very litlle machine/isolation work I need to be abit more cautious; after deadlifts etc I can tell I need to sip on the shake alot more and theres no real let up from the heavy lifting apart from maybe the last exercise…
Do you get the sense it might help to get ahead of it a bit and drink say a third of your carbs right up front so you don’t start feeling wonky after a heavy compound movement?
I eat 30 mins before pinning which is at least 75g carbs from rice and start sipping the shake when I havent diluted it much; after a few swigs I then dilute it more and sip through workout.
If it happens again ile either up peri shake carbs for pull day, increase carbs prior to workout or try a slower carb like sweet potato or oatmeal instead of white basmati… I could also add a small amount of almond butter with that meal which slows carb release but Im trying to avoid fat intake around slin use.
Little update: 14lbs heavier today from first slin pin… Arms looking very full during push/pull workouts and overal body feels very thick, especially when at peak during workouts. I have had a few epic cheat meals where ive gone off macro counting for a while and also switched up push/pull/legs which im loving and shifting some big numbers on the big compound lifts but the slin is obviously playing a role.
Gonna chill out on the cheat meals for a week or 2 as Ive hit my heaviest weight but a little more fat on the lower belly and hips than ide like… Hit a 300kg/661lbs pb deadlift yday and my pressing has also never been
so strong so being more relaxed on the macros has given me the extra full feeling for those bigger lifts… Obviously the slin has played a role but hard to judge.
I am coming to the end of my Tren/Prop blast with a taper down into my 250 Test E cruise and have also upped the pre workout slin shot to 6iu with carbs at 75g in the shake… feels great and during my leg latest leg session my quads were so pumped it was hurting! I am not going to add another slin shot as I think I will just get fat, if I was truley just a bodybuilder in a leaner state and sticking to my macros more religiously I would add a post workout shot, maybe.
So overall; finding 6iu pre workout with 75g carbs to be great; My goal is just to be fucking huge and strong whilst remaining in fairly good condition; if I was purley a bodybuilder I would lower the carbs and consider another shot post workout.
well i dropped 180kg bench press from extended arm hieight on my chest lol! (might post vid) and was out of training properly for a week or 2 so stopped slin a little early…,
However, maintaining my bodyweight at 240lbs quite happily and back into training somewhat at full force!
Will start another 4 week slin cycle as i come to the last 4 weeks of my 250 test cruise as now I am off the big juice and slin the pumps are deffinitley not the same; especially arms!
Ide say anyone looking to do this protocol will get good pumps and put on weight which seems to be very maintainable… hard to say how much was the slin’s doing in terms of weight gain tho as I upped “cheat meals” to help hit a 670lb deadlift pr and overall end of cycle strength blast lol, and was on 750 Tren A 750 Test P throughout the slin use too…
