531 and Programming Conditioning

Hi!

I would really like to do conditioning while doing 531 bbb.

Strength is still my biggest goal.

I am doing 531 bbb 4days a week.
On What days Should I do conditioning and What conditioning Should I do?
I dont have acces to a sledge push or pull and I dont have acces to a Weighted vest either.

I could do running, jump ropes etc.

You could do weighted carries with dumbbells.

My best suggestion is to figure out what you want to do. Then set a goal and then work towards that goal.

You can have a performance goal or a consistency goal.

Performance goal (for example) - run a 6:00 mile.
Consistency goal (for example) - walk 60 miles/month with 50lbs weight vest

It is very simple to do. But I don’t know how anyone does any conditioning without some kind of goal.

One more question, on What days / How Many times a week Should I do cardio ?

If you do not have access to a weighted vest, you can put weight in a backpack (plates, dumbbells, rocks, cats, etc.). A drag sled can be made out of an old tire, some boards, an eye hook and a rope; just add weight. You can make a push sled out of an old wheelbarrow shell: Take the shell off of the frame, attach handles, add weight, and push. Hill sprints are nice as well.

Can you stack conditioning work? For example in place of doing 2 miles with a weighted vest 3x a week, can you do 6 miles 1x a week, and reap the same benefits in the end?
