I pulled 300 a couple of weeks ago. I have a comp on this Sunday and am hoping to go a touch over that which will set a few raw national records. But this thread is not about that. Compared to your average dipstick sitting on the couch wolfing down double dew and pizza while fantasizing about being an NFL quarterback, then the OP’s “friend” is doing very well. It’s a great effort and a great set. Compare to a powerlifter who would qualify for a state comp, then it’s an OK effort but a long way to go to get a medal around the neck.
So, it all depends on how you look at it. Like I said, keep going for another year and he should be competative.
