Big Larry finally put up 500lbs. today! This was the third time he has used a shirt. This was his third attempt at this weight today, but he finally nutted up and hit it. He is going to compete in his first meet March 20, in Chico, CA at a WABDL meet (BTW I’m deadlifting at the same meet). His goal has always been 500 at the meet, now I’m confident he will get it!

Trust me it wasn’t easy, that was his third attempt. I had to get in his ear that it was like the third attempt at his meet and he needed it or he would bomb out. Then I slapped him a lot.
it may just be me but he seems unstable when unracking the weight in this and the previous videos and by all means i am no where near this weight just seems to wiggle on the bench alot after unracking the weight
Remember this is the third time in a shirt. Also he is new to the arched, competition style of pressing. With time I hope he gets more stable.
