I sneaked a drink during practice one time. Got an hour of shooting take downs at the wall for that.

Haha! That’s awesome, I love it! You got tougher, and better at take downs!

That is a great “Back in My Day” story. It’s so great, I could see myself accidently claiming it happened to my cousin, when drinking with my bros. Of course my cousin was wearing a trash bag under his shirt at the time.

  • becoming a 220 lbs powerlifter will not make you a better soccer player

  • if deadlifting hurts, then don’t do it.

  • take more time off to rest and recover. Especially when feeling beat up. Use this time to do other things. Lying on the couch in a awkward position does not help recovery.

  • don’t bother with alcohol. Eat more beef. Sleep more.

  • you have an addiction to cashews, almonds, peanuts and macadamias. Do not buy these in bulk and have them readily available. Buy single serves and eat them as a twice a week treat.

  1. You can develop your physique without a building a strength base, don’t spend two years doing only compound exercises!

  2. Mind muscle connection and learning to contract and squeeze the muscle fully (as fully as possible) is more important than progressing in weight on the bar.

3.Pick 3 protein sources, 2-3 carb sources, and 2-3 fat sources and make a simple, easy to follow diet.

4.Train each body part 1.5x-3x per week, not 1x.

  1. There is no best way to do anything, it all depends on what works best for you! The program that gives me optimal results may give you shit results.
