Good job on the gain. You must have been really really skinny before. You have miles and miles before you. Keep on EATING and lifting hard. Use this great site to learn about these areas. A good starting point is Vrooms beginners thread.
Take care,
D
I gotta hand it to you. In 5 months you’ve added 40 lbs to your frame. That is roughly 30% of your initial body weight. Congrats!
Now that is about the best you are going to get up here. I hope it is fuel for your fire. Physique wise, you look like a normal kid now. Now you’ve got a platform to work off.
Bust your ass and don’t lose the desire.
Good luck and keep reading.
Constructive criticism:
- Keep eating lots of meat and drinking lots of milk.
- Keep squatting and deadlifting at least once a week, preferably two. If you aren’t already doing both, start.
- Pick up Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe and Lon Kilgore. It has the best descriptions of the basic movements I’ve ever seen. Plus it’s cheap, like 20 USD.
- See 1 & 2 above.
That approach is like novocaine; just give it time, it always works.
You should probably work on your shoulders.

and every other muscle. Keep working man.
D: Torpedo Titties,
I hate to sound like a cardio fag, but, get on that treadmill son, I still got the torpedo part, not the rest around it. GJ on the gains though, when I started lifting when I was 15 (a year ago), it took me 1 year to gain 50 pounds (150 to 200lbs), ever since then, I never really gained weight after that (very little), but my weights still gradually progressed upwards, which is a good sign believe me.
Trust me man, you’ll still be gaining mass like a mofo, just, not a superfast mofo who gains 10 pounds a month.
Anyway care to post some stats???
His last log in date was 2007 leave it alone people…
