Started out working at home a little over 2 years ago, joined a gym 1 year ago to get serious. Just turned 18 in May, current weight 153.
Workout was 5x5, just switched over to 5/3/1.

very lean
shredded, keep putting on mass & don’t be afraid to put a little fat on to build some more size. Good shit so far
I think I’d look like you if I cut, something I was considering doing till I saw this thread. I’m glad you put it up because I wanted to see what that weight looked like lean with a decent bit of muscle. You don’t look bad at all, just very lean and a bit small.
You have spurred me on to add another 20 pounds before I reign in the belly.
Good job on getting lean, just bulk up now and try and add another 20 or so pounds of lean muscle.
Start adding some size to your shoulders and some thickness to your back. Will pay off. Good size though for 153 lbs.
What are your lifts?
Since i am doing 5 3 1 now ill just give you the main exercises for the days.
Military Press-115lbs for 5 reps
Dead Lift-190lbs for 12 reps
Bench Press-160lbs for 9 reps
Squat- 185lbs for 9 reps
The weight and reps are from the last time i worked them. Which was last week. Not my max weight obviously but my max reps with that weight.
Very lean, but the road to progress size-wise will involve putting some fat on, so don’t be afraid to do it.
You can always shave that fat off after, but for now:
-eat lots of quality food
-lift hard
-sleep good
rinse repeat.
You look like one of the “after” shots from a P90X commercial. You’re super lean, but also small. Add some mass and you’ll be good.
