Question 1-is there anything special about (5-androstene-3B, 7B, 17B-triol)? the vpx sports website refers to as a ‘powerful antiglucocorticoid meaning that it inhibits cortisol’s catabolic (muscle destroying) actions; therefore, just like anabolic steroids, it influences the body to remain in an anabolic (muscle building) state’ question 2 is are all antiglucocorticoids muscle builders? or do they have to target specific receptors to be anabolic?
The claim that reducing cortisol, in individuals where cortisol is normal, is of value in building muscle is in my opinion nothing other than a fraudulent, “sounds good, I need to buy this stuff!” marketing claim that has been quite successful in selling lots of product. But with zero evidence as to its efficacy.
If you doubt me, try doing nothing but taking
250 mg of Cytadren 4 times per day. This will reduce your cortisol for sure. Let us know about how your muscle mass did NOT increase. Because it won’t. Reducing cortisol, where
normal in the first place, doesn’t do that. It will just mess you up (say hello to joint pain.)
bill-thanks for the response–i’ve had experience with Cytadren and like you said no extra muscle but my response to injury/overreaching was severely impaired. i’m still paying for it. btw–had heard that a researcher named rm loria was using this compound in aids patients for immune respnse (good results supposedly) but it was not translating into decreasing muscle wasting… the rights to this compound and immunity is owned by a firm called hollis eden i think, those vpx guys are dangerous-(claims) and rude when i tried to get any info–i’d like to see the t-staff do a review of their stuff before they spread like cancer. you guys rock
