Reading those guys makes me want to core my head out and install one of those electronic singing hamsters in the empty space. With blinking lights. And a little “pew-pew” sound-maker like a miniature gun firing to fill the dead air after the hamster stops singing and before he starts.

I’m sure others feel the same about me, but since it’s my thread…[/quote]

i feel your pain… at least you don’t have a T-Nation hater following you around like Ape’sASS or APWsearch or whatver his name is. that guy loves to get under my skin.

He reads like a lingo-slinging faker to me.

I can’t stand those two. My education tells me to keep an open mind, I can learn something from anyone, but they leave as you say, wanting to core my head out and put a symbol smashing toy monkey in there. I have a master’s degree in Phys Ed / Sports Med, currently working on my BSN in nursing and worked for the past 15 years in Sports Med and strength&conditioning, but I’m no rocket scientist. I try hard to remember the lessons my Irish Catholic mother taught me. “To keep my fat trap shut!”

DCA, you’re doing a bang up job and I learn so much and gain so much motivation from all you guys. Especially Meat, he just puts it plain and simple, man’s a genius.

Thank you DCA and guys.

Try combat sports for some good ones.

there are some serious posters there either fight fans or people who train , semi pro
and then an endless see of Brotards ( thank you joegoode) who post the same
catalog ninja shit every day.

Meat just smile and tell the interstalker to kindly fug off.

MP
barx15
105x5
125x3
145x3 (pretty easy)
165x3 (not too hard)
185x1,0 (bust a gut)
165x4+1 (rp)

Squat
135x5
245x3
285x3
315x2
350x1
375x0

Abort.

Not feeling it today. I think 365 was the highest I should have gone on squat (would have gotten that I’m sure) and 175 on MP. 375 got out in front of me on the way up. I’m training failure right now and need to just back off. Didn’t have much enthusiasm for this today to start with.

edit:

Went and did some soccer ball practice with my son. Had a good time, but was getting madder and madder about the squat. So I came back to the garage and did

Anderson Squat (pin 5 - 4" below parallel)
315x0,1 (verrrrry slooooooowwwwww)
275x3
295x2

Squat Supports/Walkouts
455x10sec
505x15 sec (PR + 5 sec)

Heading down to the gym to do chest supported rows.

edit:

Later:
Anderson Squats from even deeper (Ass on heels - I do not lie!)
225x5
275x3
295x2
315x2 (PR on top of a PR)

Chest Supported Rows
135x5
185x5
225x5,6 (PR + 20 lbs)

Military Press
115x5
165x3
175x2,1

BB curls
125 5x2 sets

Tricep pressdowns
100x10
110x8
110x8
120x8

I think the bar at the gym is lighter than mine. It’s definitely a smaller diameter. It’s Ivanko. Seems sturdy, didn’t flex much during last session’s deadlifts.

DCA, We’ve all had those squat days. Can be frustrating as piss, but that is a nice job on the military press. When I squat, it has to be first b/c I need every ounce of energy to do them. I don’t particularly like to squat. It’s like crack, I can’t stop myself. I don’t actually do crack BTW.

Meat, yeah, I misspelled genius too. Dang it! I misspelled it again. That’s why I love Firefox’s spell check.

Trying to catch up. Man at your BW everything looks scary strong! Serious.

Couple of bro-tozoa at the gym, pumping their arms and running their mouths. Just used it to make my training better.

I value the ability to pick someone up over my head and throw them 10 feet more than owning a pair of puffy gunzzz and an even tan for the she-bro’s.

Is that the plural for brotard?
joegoode is the man for that gift.

the gift of brotard.

You did two crazy squat sessions however charming you might be- you are a strong and crazy sob

I had to finally make people register to read my blog to get rid of some of those idiots. Bless your heart, I sometimes wish that you could do more than flame someone back over the internet …

Nice work, DCA. Sounds like fear and loathing on the weight-room trail, with the bro-tozoa infecting the gym.

Damn that is some good strong work DCA. Very impressive.

Danjo228: Thanks for the consolation. Went into the first session unfueled. I used to be able to do that but it looks like I gotta load up before training these days. I downed a quart of kefir before the second round and things were feeling much better and easier.

63Galaxie: Really? I feel like muledeer wandering amongst a herd of bison, sometimes.

PeteS: Thanks, man. see above.

Kmcnyc: Bro-tozoa: singular - bro-tozoan. A group or culture of wifebeater-wearing, guido wanna be’s with an overinflated sense of their own importance. Frequently found discussing women they can’t get near, triumphs they could have had while studiously avoiding any strenuous exercise during their time on the training floor. Often observed to cast furtive looks at actual lifters and emit negative comments about same.

jjackkrash: Nah - usual stuff. They’re not bad guys, actually, but, my goodness - they were a pair of yakkers. “Shut up! SHUT! UP!”

Elaikases: There is something you can do besides flame, but it takes far too much time and attention to be worthwhile, usually: Counter-stalking.

Bike ridies today

Legs are all pumped and tingly. Feeling yesterday’s triple squat session a little, but not bad all in all.

I’m a rebel. I ride with no spandex and no helmet. Chicks like that.
